I had to get him up from his nap to tell him the garage door is hanging off. Great way to start the new year! So me being an Elite, I always rely on Yelp! I searched for garage door repair, found this company with top reviews, and gave them a call. There isn't any negative feedback in this review. 1-4 are all positive. Want details, keep reading! 1. Initial Call / Operator I called the office and a young lady answered. She was very pleasant, took all my information, and told me a technician would come out to provide a free quote within three hours. She also asked how I found them, and I let her know it was through Yelp. 2. Timeline of Arrival The technician, Angel arrived earlier than the initial timeline. He called beforehand to let me know he was on the way and would be arriving sooner, which I appreciated. We needed to get the garage fixed as quickly as possible so that worked out for us. 3. Technician Angel explained that he could repair it, but it would basically be a band-aid fix. Our tracks were bent and there was another issue, so we'd likely run into the same problem again. He offered to replace the garage door right then, which made us happy since we store important items in our garage. Unfortunately, he didn't have our door type on his truck and it had to be ordered. We scheduled installation for Monday. 4. Installation Angel arrived Monday as planned. He told me the process would take about two hours to remove the old door and install the new one. He was true to his word. It actually took a little less than two hours. He also gave recommendations based on the slight pitch of our foundation and shared tips for 6 month maintenance. He was friendly, professional, and cleaned up after himself. To answer your question.... YES!! I would absolutely call them again for any garage repairs and would recommend them. He figured out the problem in moments (a connection had been severed by the high winds and hail) and did a little maintenance since he was being paid for an hour anyway. The woman who returned the call was excellent. The name is pronounced, :Wild-ee, but I prefer to call them, wild. I like to picture wild undomesticated repairmen just barely tamed enough to respond to emergency repair calls, then returning to their natural habitats.

I can now confirm that her experience wasn't a one-off. Shout out to Jim for being awesome! I called Monday morning to request an appointment and they were able to schedule for the next day. I was called Tuesday morning to confirm, and given a rough ETA and the name of the person who would be coming out for the repair. And then a final call from Jim when he was on the way. So, A+ for scheduling and A+ for communication. When Jim arrived, I explained what was happening (of course the door opener was working fine when he came) and my husband explained further what he had been doing to try assessing the issue. After taking our information into account, he set to work making necessary adjustments to fix the issue and then giving everything a good once-over just to be thorough. Jim explained everything that he saw, what adjustments were made, and showed me how to realign the sensors if needed. A+ for friendly service. I've never needed a garage door repair so have no frame of reference for cost, but I'm not unhappy at all with the price I paid for next day service. I do believe it was fair. I did knock off a star, however, due to their pricing tactics. They quoted me about double other equivalent companies quoted me. When I pressed and showed a competitors quote, they matched the price since they were already out here. That doesn't sit right with me that a $750 job can become $400. I'm happy they matched the price and I got the job done, but always get multiple quotes. They have the branded trucks, excellent communication via email/text confirming appointment and technician photo and advertise via mailer coupons, all of which comes at higher marketing costs which explains the higher initial quote.
