I'm very glad I found SPS here on help and found the same great service as others. When I called I spoke directly with Eddie the owner and scheduled my move, a small cross town move of a living room and two bedrooms. With SPS I got everything I hoped for in a mover, which is more than I expected. No hassle with talking to one person on the phone and then having some sketchy day laborers show up to move the stuff. The move was scheduled to start around 10, and I happened to look out the window 5 minutes before 10am, and saw Eddie parked outside early, waiting to start at 10. Nice. Eddie is solidly built, the kind of guy you trust to move your stuff. He is very friendly and professional, and he worked with his son, equally great. They brought plenty of blankets and wrapped everything carefully. It was a boiling 95 day and they worked fast and without complaint. At one point I asked the son if they wanted a break as they were sweating like crazy. He said no, hot day but they appreciate the work. Eddie even suggested a nice layout for the living room furniture when he dropped off at the apartment and laid it all out. Multi talented. Payment is cash only. No surprises and no damages. I called Eddie in desperation 2 days before I had to move ....he told me not to worry, he promised he would help...and help he did!!! Eddie and his crew are Angels.. Not only are they the most organized professional team I have ever dealt with, but they are sensitive and compassionate... They arrived at 9 am on the dot. They got right to work handling my personal belongings as if they were their own. Manny and Edwin had me out of my house and into a storage unit in 5 hours!!! Eddie responded to my inquiry very quickly and was out to view the job in no time. He and his crew showed up on time the date of the move and it was immediately apparent that they had a plan to run an efficient operation. They were quick, careful and considerate when moving our furniture and placed all the items wherever we wanted in the new house. Eddie helped us out of a real bind at the last minute. We tried to move an old style console TV from our second floor and got stuck in the stair well (what were we thinking!). I called SPS and sent out an SOS distress call. Mr. Eddie was at our door within the hour, assessed the situation, brought all the necessary equipment and cleared out the TV in 15 minutes with no damage. Superb! Efficient and Flexible and Careful. Eddie and team were everything we needed just to move some pieces around the house and even to the dump. They me called back within the hour. I had told them it was just two sofas and he said they could squeeze me in the next afternoon. By the next day though, I had a short list of thing to move! Great service. Returns calls promptly. Takes care with delicate items - even reads "fragile" on boxes and handles as such! What moving company does that??!!! This family of movers were awesome showed up on time were able to get the pod door unstuck because it was packed to full. They were courteous and friendly felt like I new them. We were unpacked in 3 hours our 3 beds setup and we were good to go. Would recommend them all day everyday.
