Robert and Belva were amazing hosts and Robert gave excellent referrals for services I needed while in town. Belva's delicious, healthy and substantial breakfasts and the various snacks on the kitchen counter were a godsend as I was too busy working on a project to stop for lunch one day and was able to make all the goodies last me throughout the day. I love that Belva incorporates local dairies and other sources in her breakfasts and labels the items for reference. The grilling cheese was da bomb! First, as you arrive to the venue, directly next to it, on the property is construction, EEK! This was not expected as she had said it would be complete in April 2026. You have to walk down a very steep trail to get to the wedding site itself. Karen made things difficult for the wedding party, at one point raising her voice and yelling. She was going through items in the bride's dressing room. The kitchen area is old, really old. Think green avocado stove old. There were no towels, paper towels etc for clean up or as you go taking care of things. There was no air conditioning. The reception area was stifling and hot. You walk down the stairs to the basement to get to the kitchen and dressing areas. However, it's dark without light and the carpet was very dark. Definitely a tripping/falling hazard. Lastly, we had to pack the trash out with us! Insane! We actually had to haul trash out with our cars/trucks. Karen's behavior and demeanor sadly made everyone uncomfortable, causing the reception to end early, my grandson didn't get his mother/son dance, nor did his sweet wife get her father/daughter dance. The fact that Karen had our sweet bride in tears is just plain awful. I would never recommend the Hidden Pearl to anyone. Too bad, I have 17 grandchildren, she could've had a customer for life.

Make sure to watch for ticks from the trees above where you have your ceremony. Lastly, i want to talk about the owner... KAREN. Lets just say she really lived up to the Karen stereotype. She was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the entire night. She failed to let us know that we needed to haul off our own trash. She was snappy and rude with our bridal party and guests. I keep seeing reviews about how nice and helpful she was but we got the complete opposite. The only thing she set up was the chairs for the ceremony and the arch. She didn't help with cleanup at all and was nowhere to be found when we needed something. Don't expect to be able to eat while getting ready because that seemed to be an issue with her. She had my wife crying for almost the entire night and made us feel very unwelcome which led to us leaving early. Make sure to lock up your things because she will snoop through the rooms downstairs while you guys are away. You might want to ask her how to flush the toilet because shes too cheap to fix it. It was very disappointing to have our wedding night ruined by the person that's supposed to make it amazing. Its a very budget friendly option for a reason

I was most excited about the Jacuzzi tub for two. It definitely heat it up quick, but it was very relaxing to feel the jets against the body after a long work week. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I always bring my own pillows when traveling via car, but the bed was super comfortable, and I was able to fall asleep with ease. The room was very clean, spacious, and inviting. Complementary breakfast was nice. They actually had some gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Was pleasantly surprised. Overall, one of the better themed hotel stays I've ever experienced. We'll definitely come back again.

We stayed at Anniversary Inn on Friday, May 15, 2026, for our 8th wedding anniversary. This was…read moresupposed to be a special remembrance stay for us because we also stayed here on our wedding night 8 years ago. My husband booked our room over a month in advance, and we reserved the Hollywood Suite, which was the room we had always wanted to stay in. A week before our stay, they called my husband and told him that room was no longer available, even though it had already been reserved for weeks. He requested another Diamond Suite, and they told him not to worry because the Marble Suite was available. We checked in at 4:00 PM. The room was much smaller than expected, and the wine my husband paid for and specifically requested was not in the room. The spa essentials were there, so we decided not to make a fuss at first. After dinner, we returned around 9:30 PM and tried to use the spa bathtub, which is one of the main reasons people stay at this hotel. The water was extremely hot, and when my husband tried to turn it down, the water would not shut off at all. The water became so dangerously hot that we quickly jumped out to avoid getting burned or injured because we had no way to stop it. We had to get out, get dressed, and call the front desk. Joann came to our room, and instead of trying to problem-solve or reassure us, she immediately said there were no rooms available and asked whether we planned to stay or leave. Rather than helping us find a solution, she seemed more focused on getting an answer from us than resolving the issue itself. From the moment she arrived, we felt like she was more than happy to see us leave instead of trying to save our anniversary experience or help make things right. We asked if the issue could be fixed first. Maintenance came, and after we waited in our car for about half an hour, the tub was still not properly fixed. The maintenance employee, Donny, was shocked that no one had tried to move us and confidently told us that we would absolutely receive a full refund because of the situation. He seemed certain that this was the obvious outcome. Later, when my husband spoke with Joann and referenced what Donny had said, she immediately shut it down and said he could not make those statements and should not have said that. It was incredibly frustrating to receive completely conflicting information from staff while already dealing with a ruined anniversary evening. We were then told the faucet had been stripped and that pliers could be left for us if we wanted to try using the tub ourselves. We did not feel comfortable with that at all. The whole reason we stayed there was for the themed room and spa tub experience, and that experience was completely ruined. We ended up checking out before midnight and driving 45 minutes home to Mountain Home. What made this even more frustrating was how everything was handled afterward. We were not offered any refund, partial refund, credit, or even another stay at a later date. Nothing. We were simply told that "a manager would contact us." There was no attempt to make things right, no empathy, and no effort to save our anniversary experience. The property itself also feels very neglected. The hallway carpets looked filthy and stained and honestly did not appear to have changed much since we stayed there 8 years ago. For $300-$400 a night, this is unacceptable. The staff overall seemed undertrained, overwhelmed, and not equipped to handle guest issues with even basic hospitality. This place could be amazing if the owners invested more into maintenance, staffing, and customer service. Unfortunately, our anniversary night was ruined, and my husband and I have decided we will never stay there again. For anyone considering spending this much money on a room here, think carefully. You are paying for an experience, and sadly this was nowhere close to one worth paying for.
