She was impatient and hostile with me if I was ever wrong on a math problem (and I'm talking if I made a typo error or multiplied wrong just a quick fix) when I'm great at math and always made it a point to behave. Whenever I needed to stand up against bullies she was mean and told me to "ignore them" but ignoring DOESNT WORK! Maybe it works for her oh wait it didn't not when that same bully called her the very name that describes her accurately (the b word). Hypocrite! You should've ignored him? Yeah what good did that do? Did you ignore him when he called you that? Exactly! Idk if she's still working there but I'm glad I don't have to see her anymore! I'm so glad my mom put you in your place and threatened to report you to the superintendent if you didn't change your behavior with me because the way you behaved was like that of a bully, it was senseless, counterproductive and disgusting. I always behaved myself in your class but you showed the same animosity to me and students who behaved themselves better as you did to the bad kids. I'm not dismissing the fact that we had bad students in class, I hated being with them too but you didn't need to get your anger out on the good kids. I'd say drop that stupid ego of yours and stop mistreating your students! And to some of the rude office staff including this tall African American woman who always came in either a frown and spoke nastily to me, I hope you know that your sins will find you out for carrying this attitude and ego of not wanting to help others. So I got bullied my whole time here and the staff did nothing about it didn't even care, Everytime I told the teacher something they said 'tell the yard-duty' and I told the yard duty about it and they didn't even do anything, the students are so rude, they talked bad about me and my friends and we confronted staff and they did nothing. One time in 4th grade, this girl had a headache and the teacher let her go to the nurses office and one time I was really sick... runny nose, sour throat and fever and the teacher asked if I could stay until the end of the day like what the hell is wrong with you? And the food absolutely sucks also, we had moldy apples and one time we had expired milk from 3 MONTHS AGO. And the vice principal makes up weird rules, one time me and my friends were eating our snacks by the bench and he was like 'you have to eat by the snack area' and the snack area was FLOODED with people and we weren't even littering or anything we were just eating. And I remember in 2nd grade and 4th grade my teachers yelled at me and it scared the hell out of me. And one time I heard that the PE teacher punched a kid in the shoulder. Although she may present herself as friendly, my child experienced repeated condescending, inappropriate, and troubling behavior. My child was bullied by other students on multiple occasions, and I personally witnessed some of these incidents. Instead of intervening appropriately, Ms. Choi dismissed my child's reports, denied that incidents occurred, and labeled her a liar.She made inappropriate comments about my child's appearance, including remarks about her skin color, and spoke negatively about me as a parent directly to my child. My child also reported being physically touched in a way that made her uncomfortable. In addition, she described instances where Ms. Choi would whisper comments in her ear so that others could not hear, which caused her to feel isolated and distressed.When I brought these concerns to school administration, I did not see meaningful action taken. After contacting the district multiple times over several months, I was finally able to have my child transferred due to limited availability.I encourage parents to remain vigilant, listen carefully to their children, document concerns, and advocate firmly when necessary. Every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and protected in their classroom.

Champions has a campus on-site at the Elementary school and within 50 feet of the school building. The teachers there drop off the children to their classes in the morning and pick up the kids from their classes after school - even during minimum day! They are a blessing for the working parents. They are highly flexible on when you drop off and pick up your kids. There's a secure sign in and out process that assures no children go home with the wrong person. During the kid's stay at Champions, they work on their homework, receive tutoring, and still have time go outside and play on the playground / grass field at the Elementary School. Champions change programs every week which allows them to focus on something different and keep the children engaged and learning. They feed the kids snacks so I know they never go hungry. The facility is always clean and they communicate any issues or news to the parents. Also, the staff is Friendly and Educated. Champion's cost is above average but their Quality is Superior.

At this particular location their director is who is responsible for why these guys are the best! Mrs. Charmaine has given us such wonderful handling, especially since it is not easy having 5 kids attending. My children love the activities and they are constantly improving them too. My children have met and formed bonds with children of differing age groups and I firmly believe it makes for a well rounded child. If there are money issues with the web site, you just have to discuss it with Mrs. Charmaine and she will be sure to take care of it for you! Schedules are set so be sure to register early! The teachers are selectively chosen, they really do enjoy what they do! As far as the kids, they have fun there, learning how to cook and putting on little shows. My 6th grader just had a promotion ceremony and the little singers are quite talented! My kinder graduated last year and they had a celebration for that as well. They honor the different cultures by having an international potluck. The company must be half way decent if the staff is this wonderful, but the parents were also invited to a corporate event where the president was present to address concerns and issues. Back then the EGSD had higher ratings than in Galt, which was part of the reasons of moving. All the fun activities of field trips to Sutter's Fort, and Monterey Bay Aquarium... The boys still keep in touch with a few classmates, which is impressive! Glad we chose a great school!

Concerns raised by parents are dismissed rather than addressed, and there is little accountability at the administrative level. Academically, the education is average at best and does not justify the high tuition. My older son was given a transfer 2 years ago because my fiancé's mom works at Foulks Ranch Elem. My younger son went to kindergarten in Stockton (where I teach) because we have full day Kinder and EGUSD is still half day. He was soooo excited to go to Foulks Ranch for 1st grade but today, the day BEFORE school starts, we were told his transfer was denied. The reason why? Because his grandmother who WORKS AT THE OVERFLOW school (Foulks Ranch) lives with us fractions of mile closer to Donner Elem. That means his childcare providers address isn't in the right area so even though she works there and his brother goes to that school, he can't. I will be taking my business (in the form of his ADA money) elsewhere. Splitting families and having no regard for the families you serve is NOT good educational or business practice EGUSD. Shame on you. Another district will benefit from my child's good behavior, attendance and test scores because of this policy you insist on sticking to. And how dare you bait parents by making them enroll at the other school and then waiting until the day before school starts so they have no time to make other plans. Cowardly to say the least.
