Maxim was incredibly helpful--he explained everything clearly, showed me where and how I should behave on the road, and answered all of my questions. The platform they use is very convenient--it shows exactly when and at what time your lessons are scheduled. You can choose from different packages and lesson plans, and there are reminders sent 2-3 times before each lesson, which is super helpful. After completing the first 10 lessons, I took my driving test but unfortunately didn't pass because I made the same mistake I had been making during the lessons. I then decided to take another 10 lessons, and after just 8 lessons, I went for my test again--and this time, I passed with flying colors, making no mistakes at all! I now feel much more confident behind the wheel. I'm really grateful to Maxim for helping me learn how to drive and, more importantly, for eliminating my fear of driving. I now have a strong desire to drive and gain more experience on the road! I'm even planning to take a highway lesson to further build my skills and confidence. Lauren took me on the roads of Norwood for the first time and was very friendly and professional. Here's where it gets confusing. I scheduled a second lesson with the school and on the day of I get an email 10 mins after my scheduled lesson saying that I was a no show. I had been waiting in my house staring at the driveway waiting with no sign of a car so this was just a blatant lie. Then they tried to tell me my number wasn't in the system (not true because Lauren was able to call and text me before my first lesson.) I then find out that during my 11am lesson they went to pick up a different student because they are "down a driver." So first the school tries to blame me for being a no show, when in reality THEY WENT TO THE WRONG HOUSE. On top of that they double booked the hour so they went and picked someone else up for a lesson? The entire exchange was unprofessional and they appeared to blame me. The reality is the instructor was the No Show in this situation since he literally did not come to my house. I understand that it's school vacation week. I'm a teacher. There are plenty of high schoolers ready to get their license this spring so the school took advantage and just peaced out without admitting their mistake. I IMMEDIATELY realized why the school is 5 stars. Just the way Mr. B instructs and teaches, he's very calm, patient, funny, and at the same time informative. Just a FEW lessons and you will feel amazed on the techniques he teaches. No intimidation, no discomfort, and 100% judgement free. I got my drivers license with ease and no faults. Even if you have practiced, I would recommend at least a class with Mr. B, because he will show you everything you need to do for the test. He will teach you the best techniques to make everything simpler! Scheduling is also very lenient on your availability. As for COVID safety, masks are required for lessons and Mr. B provides hand sanitizer every session.
