The girls at the front are rude . When you walk up to the counter they DO NOT GREET YOU . They just keep talking and talking . The lady close to the wall is extremely rude . She just lets you stand there. I had to say something to her before I even signed in . She has no manners . The other two girls on the other side are laughing extremely loud and saying profanity out loud . I will be leaving a review on each site that I can find because this place needs to be shut down with all the negative reviews. You have the audacity to have the 5 star review on the front of both computers at the front but they can't even greet you when you walk in ? Yea ok . This place is disrespectful disgusting . I will definitely be telling my friends and family that we need to switch dentist. This place just wants money . My aunts daughter went about two months ago and they told her she has 4 cavities. She went to a dentist in chatsworth and Rome and they provided her with x rays and told her she did NOT have cavities. Would NOT recommend this place I went here 6 months ago in August for a cleaning I was told I had 5 cavities so I wanted to get them done. I was told that my insurance would cover it just not the laughing gas. Okay fast forward the next week I drive to get them done the lady at the front tells me I have to pay out of pocket that it wouldn't be covered . I still had my cleaning 6 months later that I wanted to have done recently in February then I was told I had "13" and that I had "in between cavities" I said okay is there anyway I can get it done I tried asking again if my insurance would cover it . They told me yes this time . I go the next week and there's just too many red flags my sister and I were in the lobby and over heard them talking about a patient, they wouldn't let my sister go back with me which is fine but I think they just don't want other people to see how they treat the patients . I had NO idea they were going to try to fix all "13" in one appointment which they should've communicated to me! I have never had laughing gas so I didn't think I would need it and Dr.Vvong is who worked on my teeth and her assistant said "Today she will be working on your lower left she never said my whole mouth. Then the Dr proceeded to give me multiple shots that just kept coming . If I wouldn't have asked them for a break she wanted to give me even more shots . My mouth was super numb I couldn't even really talk I told them that about 3 times ! Then the Dr stepped out of the room and her assistant tells me she fixed 5 then when I tried asking questions the Dr comes back and asked me if, "I was okay." And her assistant replied "yeah she's fine" then tells me I'm going to put this device back in your mouth and didn't care about the questions I had. I did not feel like I could just leave with them drilling into my teeth I could feel my heartbeat the whole time my mouth was numb but I also felt some of the drilling and she just kept repeating "that's why we recommended the laughing gas " . I've never had a panic attack but I think I did after my visit and when I got up out of the chair I was dizzy and didn't feel like I could even make it to my car. I don't care how sorry they say they are or that they'll make it right because it's not like they mean it. They gave me a number that I think one of them will answer to also not care about what I have to say . I hope this saves others time so that they don't have to go through anything like this. This office is extremely unprofessional. They prepped my tooth for a root canal even though they don't even perform root canals, leaving it worse than before. They also placed a filling so high on my front tooth that now my back teeth can't even touch, making it impossible to chew. When my mom called with questions, the front desk staff literally said, 'I know that I don't know,' instead of giving real answers. I scheduled an appointment for my 2 sons months before the actual appointment and even called several weeks beforehand to make sure all would be covered through my insurance. I was told then that all procedures would be covered. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled appointment and began filling out a massive amount of paperwork only to be told that there was an issue with my insurance and I would need to reschedule the appointment. I called corporate and pretty much got the same song and dance. I will absolutely never set foot in this unprofessional office again and after dealing with them one on one I wouldn't trust them to touch my children's teeth. I wish I would had read the reviews before scheduling my sons appt I could have saved a lot of time. I arrived at 7:55am for a 8am visit drove 45 mins waited until 9:30am they were "verifying our dental coverage". The office staff speaks in Spanish, so you have no idea what they are talking about. My son has been put off of his last 2 tightenings and cleanings, and now, he can't get his braces removed. They told us, that he'd have to go to ATL to have them removed, and now all we get is a run around. This is the worst place I have ever taken my child to for dental services. Even though I had an appointment, my child wasn't taken back for an hour and a half after his appointment time. There were no apologies from the staff. They acted like that was no big deal. When we came back a few weeks later for his surgery, they told me that my appointment was canceled because I didn't confirm the appointment. I showed the office manager the text message where I did, in fact, confirm the appointment. She said that after I confirmed the appointment, the office called me and I didn't answer, so they canceled the appointment. Who in the heck makes you confirm an appointment twice?!? I took the day off work and lost money because they canceled his appointment. The office also did not leave a message, so I didn't know to call back. The office manager was very rude and did every thing she could to make it my fault. When I told her that I wasn't going to give them a good review, she refused to reschedule my appointment. This dental office is absolutely horrible. They don't let you go back with you children no matter how young. You never actually talk to a dentist or see any X-rays. Every kid who came out of the area where cleanings and procedures took place we're bawling their eyes out. If you want you kid to be traumatized and terrified of the dentist by all mean take them here. They could do things much more gentle and not be so forceful. My grandson had appt at 10:00 for oral surgery to remove a tooth but was told to be there at 9:45 so I drove 1 hour to appt got there sign him in and was told they canceled his appointment cause his insurance hadn't approved it yet so I told them I'd pay cash because he had been in pain since November then I was told I couldn't pay for it either because insurance was pending !! They never called ahead of time to let me know any of this so I wouldn't drive that far for nothing so I called main office they told me to tell them th I could pay cash and keep his appointment!! So I called they put me on hold and receptionist ask them so they told me to come back and sit and wait as a walk-in!! such a crock I'll never go back there again and if it wasn't for my grandson being in pain I wouldn't have stayed!!! I took my 4 yo and 2.5 yo in for cleanings, my 4-year-old went first, she was scared and screaming and crying and not cooperating so I assisted them in holding her, once she realized they were "brushing her teeth" she calmed down a little, once they brought out the descaling tool she thought it was a needle and flipped out again, they informed me they were going to have to hold her down. I did assist because I wanted to be sure they were not rough with her. They finally got done and the Asian Dental Dr came to look at her teeth, She was still upset and not cooperating and the Dentist said they were going to make me go out, which I did (It upset her even more) I came back in for them to start cleaning my 2.5 yo. . my baby kept saying NO NEEDLES NO NEEDLES over and over, so I ask the hygienist to NOT show her the descaling tool because she would think it was a needle, The hygentist procedes to bring the NEEDLE LOOKING thing (descaling pick) up in front of her sight, and tried talking to her like a 12-year-old, When she flipped out I said I ask you not to show that to her because this would happen. The hygienist goes off hollering I KNOW how to do my job!!! I said yes and I KNOW my kids that why I asked you not to show it to her !!! Do not recommend. They are the only dentist in the greater chattanooga area that takes GA Medicaid- which is crazy! Anyway. I go in, waited over an hour and when it was finally time to go back I was told I could not go back with my 2 kids, so I had to watch through a window. I watched them like a hawk and was told by a staff member they are fine, insinuating I was a crazy mom for watching them constantly. After x rays and cleaning (about another hour) I was brought into an intimidating consult room by a staff member and told my daughter needed 5 fillings. I had to sign consent for them to verbally control and restrain my kid if needed. I was hesitant, but what ever, I get it. I let them do the 5 fillings. Next my son was brought back to the consult room where I was told he needed 6 fillings. 2 cavities were so bad they were eating away at his teeth and they needed to be EXTRACTED! I was always told do everything to save the tooth.. so I asked which teeth. I was never shown x rays, the actual dentist never came in to explain. I was told the 2 back top teeth. One already had a root canal and crown on it. WHY would I have his crown extracted I asked. The staff member said oh well, maybe the dentist put down the wrong tooth. WHAT!?!?!? wrong tooth????? I didn't consent to any treatment except 3 fillings in adult teeth, but we couldn't get same day treatment like my daughter so we had to make 3 appointments so I could get him in. After thinking about it I decided I am getting a second opinion and will not be back to Franklin dental. I believe they scare parents into signing consent forms for treatments and whatever they can to make money. My daughter was given 6 fillings instead of 5 because they magically found another one. Again I wasn't shown any x rays- so how would we even know?! Reminds me of the nightmare dentist stories on youtube where the dentist takes medicaid kids and straps them into chairs and rips their teeth out while the parents are in the waiting room. HORRIBLE!!!! This is the absolute WORST office I have ever stepped foot inside. You will not EVER meet an actual Dentist face-to-face, not even on your child's first appointment. If your child has a procedure, they will give you zero information. If they have any hardware or new device placed, no instructions for care are given to you, not even in paper format. There is ZERO communication. There's no guarantee your child will see the same dentist every time, but you would never know because you never meet the first dentist. If you have an important question or need to change a medication, you can only call there on the 1 day (yes 1) that the prescribing dentist works. Apparently the 20 dentists that work there do not work as partners under the same company umbrella. They will cancel your appointment without warning, however, if you happen to cancel a check-up, they will call you day or night up to 5x a day for MONTHS and on weekends (my kid was very sick with back-to-back sinus and ear infections). If you try to call and reschedule, you will speak with the "call center".... you read that right. A dentist office with a call center. The call center is of no help. They can direct your call to the actual office..... the office that NEVER answers the phone. Get in the car, drive there, and ask your question. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter if you're standing right in front of them, the dentist you need probably isn't at work that day to answer it and the other 45 on staff refuse to help. I will be finding my son a new dentist office. The dental hygienist he had was very rude and she acted like she wasn't working with a child. My son is very nervous at every dentist appointment and he needs validation as we go through appointment so it should be okay for him to ask question my son asked a question about the tool she was using she said are you really scared of a tooth brush and that they have already discussed it and that it wasn't rocket science well I'm sure a 9 year old wouldn't even know what rocket science was either. But the dentist that had seen him was very nice and so was his assistant. But I will not be returning I've been bringing my son here since he was four years old. And I've had issues in the past but this topped the cake for me. And the sad part is my son didn't even think she was rude he did a very good job of being still and even was good during xrays. Horrible experience, would definitely rate a zero star if I could. I have been a patient here for four years and this year has definitely been my final straw. Over the years they have been slowly bringing in a lot more new dentists and almost all of them act inexperienced and rude. Over the course of a few months I had been going for my teeth being sensitive and they insisted fillings so I had about 6 fillings put in. The fillings felt wrong, when I got them put in it caused me an even greater deal of pain than before I had them and I tried to tell them but they blew me off and claimed I was being dramatic and they kept saying "they're just new fillings the pain will go away" well I recently had an outburst with one of the dentist getting putting her hand in my face and raising her voice while in the lobby with me! Because I had been frustrated that she was blowing off my pain and she full on flipped out and stated "just because she was Mexican didn't mean she was stupid" when I had said none of those things about her, I just wanted to know why after 3 months my teeth still hurt horribly. Needles to say I found a new dentist and so far I've had to get 2 fillings took out (same day appointment) because there were HOLES in the fillings where sugars could get trapped and decaf my teeth even worse, they also drilled to deep without using water and almost made me need a root canal.. I'm scheduled for 4 more fillings to have redone for the same reason, they irritated and nearly killed the nerves and the fillings had holes in them so cold air and drinks or food was hitting open nerves. They are also VERY bad with being gentle and I couldn't imagine putting a small child through that! read more
