We stepped into this restaurant around dinner time, after being excluded from one down the street due to lack of a reservation, the host was already smog with us, I just knew we wouldn't fit in their image, anyways. Frankie & Benny's was very crowded, but we only had to wait about less than ten minutes for a table to open up, next to a window.
DH decided upon the Prawn risotto, while I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and a side salad. DH also had a glass of the house red wine, which he said he enjoyed. I thought my spaghetti was great, while his risotto - need more time, to me, it was raw!
While waiting for our food to arrive, two things happened. First, a large family with a raucous band of child were seated next to us.
The noise was deafening for a while. Next, I spotted a couple from our tour group and invited them to join us, which they did. Their food arrived shortly after ours,
