Instead I asked that he remove extra fabric from above the ruffles. He removed the extra fabric as I requested but then sewed an entirely new visible seam right through the middle of each pant leg! I don't know why he couldn't have sewn the ruffle panels and new seam as one to make it less noticeable. When I brought this to the attention of the owner, she was quite rude and repeated over and over again about the way he sewed the pants, as if I couldn't see it for myself. She even said that I must not know anything about sewing (which I actually do) otherwise I should just do it myself. She failed to even listen to me and comprehend the way I had requested and suggested the seam be sewn. She never apologized for the misunderstanding or way in which the sewing had been done. Thank goodness I only paid $15c but now I have seams in my pant legs they hadn't been there before and didn't want at all. This was a very disappointing experience. I will be using a different seamstress from now on.

By the way I am petite and am under 5 ft. tall so finding something to fit me off the rack is almost impossible, and the last dress I bought was a size 0 I also had a very old skirt that I adored but it was starting to fade and show its age. Kathleen used the old skirt as a pattern and created a new one out of similar fabric. The new skirt has become one of my favorites. I got the job, and told Kathleen I would pick up the rest of the items the following week, but my new job was in South Sarasota, I live in Northwest Bradenton, and I didn't anticipate the traffic. I couldn't make it from work to her shop in time. I called her to explain, and she got mad at me. She threatened to give my things to goodwill. It was very upsetting. Once I settled in at my job, I took a half day off work to go pick up my items, and she had the nerve to say she was ok with me and she would do work for me again.
