If I could give this place -5 stars, I would. I brought in two dresses for alterations -- one of them being a sentimental piece that belonged to my late mother. I clearly communicated that I wanted to preserve the integrity of the original design and simply have it fitted slightly to my frame. Not only did she ignore my request, but she also removed key design elements (like the buttons) without asking -- essentially reworking the entire dress into something unrecognizable and poorly finished. The second dress? She didn't touch it at all. Literally zero work was done, yet she still charged me $90 in total. She also failed to mention when I dropped the items off that she only accepts cash. When I showed up with a card, she told me she could take Venmo -- but insisted I write "thank you" in the memo line instead of noting it was for alterations. That alone made it clear this is an under-the-table operation. When I came to pick up the dresses, she didn't offer a fitting -- which is extremely unusual for any reputable alteration service. It felt like she was rushing me out the door, and once I got home, I realized why: the second dress hadn't been altered at all, and the first was completely botched. This experience was beyond disappointing -- it felt like a scam. I went here based on glowing reviews and was completely taken advantage of. Please be cautious. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially if you're bringing in a sentimental or special item. read more

Good alterations, but it's way to expensive. Plus, when I go to pick it up and it's not ready that's' a problem.

The work was fine but the pricing was absolutely insane. Almost $50 to alter sleeves on a standard blazer - nothing unduly complicated. Just crazy. I should have asked before I dropped it off; lesson learned. Will not be back. read more

Classic Alterations came through for me in a really big way--I trusted Luda with my two suits! I wish I could add some bonus stars! Quality, timely work! read more

My wedding dress purchased on line a size bigger. Service - she was nice, however, I felt lack of attention as she was vacationing and no sense of caring to fit the dress perfectly. Price - absolutely ridiculous considering she only gave attention to length Finished product - awful, didn't fit as it should and was the only thing wrong on my wedding day! I paid $322 for a dress that was uncomfortable and didn't fit properly, couldn't wait to get it off! Ruined my day! read more

I just started using Classic alterations I had three Brioni shirts fitted to my athletic physique. Luda had executed an excellent fitting. I have worked in the apparel business in New York and know quality when I see it. The finished shirts were fitted and stitched to impeccable standards. I told Luda how much a perfectionist I was and she replied "I am as well." Thankyou for acheiving my standards. I will recommend this establishment to my friends. This place is amazing, incredible customer service! I called frantic and almost called elsewhere when they said it would be about a week for alterations to my Maid of Honor dress that arrived a week before my sister's wedding, but they went out of their way to help me meet the tight deadline! I'm excited to say I'm so happy to have found a place with such a passion for clients new or old that I'm even doing a YouTube vlog about my experience!! I had a wonderful experience with Classic Alterations. Brought in my wedding dress when other places were quoting me over $400...Luda did it for half that! Walked in, she saw me immediately, we got right down to business, and I left knowing my dress was in good hands. She finished it EARLY (music to a bride's ears...) and was super flexible about letting my future mother-in-law pick it up at Would definitely recommend for alterations of any kind! read more

Literally saved Easter 2019. On the Thursday evening before Easter, I broke the zipper on my choir robe. I need it until about 3pm on Friday but could bring it immediately afterwards. Picked up two skirts today from Classic. After decades with an Italian seamstress at home, I gulped at the estimate/charge of $45 for a skirt alteration and $20 for a hem, but whatever, I was there. - Picked the garments up today: for $20, the simple hem that didn't have tape! Of course, I could have and should have done the hemming myself as I have done for decades. Boy, not a happy camper here. read more

RIP OFFS!!! DO NOT USE!!!! I am new to the area and needed some alterations done on some shirts for a funeral last minute and was not able to shop around but being it was local I used them. I was charged over $590 for 3 shirts when it should of been around $200-$250. The owner, Luda, did not care and still overcharged me and i had to go back a 2nd time because it was not done right the first time!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! HORRIBLE!! read more
