She looked at us like we were crazy, but said that she could do it, but it would cost more. Normally, hemming pants is $12. She said it would be $35 for the rush job. Ok. We went to get them today. Arrived at 11:00, which is when they open. There were three other people waiting, but the owner didn't show till 11:30. She said there was heavy traffic, then that she has been sick, which caused the complaining geezers ahead of us to visibly step back from her and stop complaining. Cracked me up! She charged $32 for hemming two pairs of pants, and we didn't correct her -- I think she gave us a discount for not complaining about her lateness. And she wished us a happy wedding day. All in all, she's great, she's flexible, but don't show up right at opening, because she might not be there yet. And take cash, because she doesn't take credit cards.

The catch....the floor dress was the only one they could sell me. It was pretty big, but it was everything I ever dreamed of so I was determined to make it work!
