After paying my copayment, I was told that I likely had not received my most recent bill, and to date, I still have not received that bill in the mail. Are they cutting expenses by not mailing out bills to save on the cost of stamps? Then I was then handed a bill for services provided in August 2026, and upon reviewing it, I noticed an error. The office corrected the error, leaving a balance of $50.02. At that point, the situation became troubling. I was told that I had to pay the balance immediately or it would be sent to collections. I explained that I would pay the bill only after I review my insurance company's Explanation of Benefits (EOB). After going back and forth with the office manager, Robin, she told me that if I did not pay the bill right then, I would not be allowed to see the doctor. This interaction left me feeling that collecting payment was being prioritized over my care and my well-being as a patient. Although I did not feel intimidated by her pressure, the experience was disappointing enough that I am now looking for another podiatrist--not because of the doctor, but because of how the situation was handled by the office manager.
