Felt as though my stylist made no effort to have personal connection and just tried to make a sale without allowing my family and I to discuss things we liked about each dress to help find the perfect one. Was glad this wasn't my first store or else I would've been very discouraged as a bride. Bridal shopping should be joyous not stressful. We were warmly welcomed immediately upon arrival, and had an amazing staff member (Olivia) help us pick the perfect dress. She was very attentive, friendly, honest, and super helpful throughout the whole process. We never felt rushed, either. The amount of dresses they have is impressive, and there is definitely something for everyone. I can tell by the demeanor of the staff and the reviews that this place is very well-run. I would most definitely be back here again to find a dress when needed, and I will recommend Claire's to anyone I know looking for their perfect dress!! Thank you, Olivia, for making this experience so special for us.

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer (and Avery toward the end), and both were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. They made me feel so comfortable and supported throughout the entire process, which can be overwhelming. The boutique itself is absolutely stunning -- bright, welcoming, and filled with hundreds of gorgeous gowns to choose from. Every dress feels special, and the selection is curated so thoughtfully that it's easy to find something that matches your vision. From start to finish, my experience at Jennifer's Bridal was everything I could have hoped for; personal, fun, and memorable. If you're looking for your dream dress, this is the place to go!!

At my appointment (this was pre-COVID), I felt like a princess the entire time. I truly felt like every employee there catered to my specific wants and needs, and didn't make me feel rushed or like I was a burden. Everyone was so happy and willing to help. I also loved that they had a seamstress in-store that I was able to use for my alterations. It definitely helped make me feel more comfortable about the quality of the alterations i was receiving, and my dress could not have turned out more perfectly. I highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing wedding dress buying experience to check out this Delaware gem. You will not be disappointed at all!

Emily at the front of house was a delight every step of the way, and the alterations process was smooth and professional. She even called me two weeks before the wedding to offer a final fitting, which I appreciated immensely. But apparently, my wedding went too smoothly, and the owner decided to make sure I got the full "bridal horror story" experience after the fact. Three days after my wedding, I brought my dress and veil in for cleaning and preservation. My veil had a handmade headpiece attached to it -- crafted by my mother, a professional jewelry maker with over 20 years of experience. This piece included Swarovski crystals (no longer manufactured), freshwater pearls, hand-painted and sealed polymer clay flowers imported from Europe, and intricate wirework that took her a week to complete. It is a one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable piece worth over $500 in materials and labor alone, not to mention the sentimental value. I carefully explained to Emily that the headpiece needed extra care because of the delicate materials and sentimental significance. We agreed the seamstress should inspect whether it could be removed without damage -- and if not, I'd be contacted to discuss options. I left the store, got in my car, immediately called my mom to tell her about the situation, and she said she wanted to speak with them. So I turned around. I was gone for literally two minutes. In those two minutes, the seamstress (who also happens to be the owner) had already taken wire clippers to the headpiece and butchered it. Not delicately removed. Not discussed. Clipped. Destroyed. I walked into the back and saw her with pieces of the headpiece literally in her hands. She then attempted to "fix" the headpiece by randomly weaving the wire back and wrapping it with white thread -- something any jewelry artist would recognize as a joke. The structure was compromised, beads could slide off, and the artistry my mom had poured into the piece was gone. When my father calmly called her to discuss compensation, the owner: Threatened to record the call (illegal in Maryland without consent) Yelled and claimed she "fixed" it Lied and said I told her to cut it off (I never spoke to her before the damage happened -- Emily had only asked her to look at it) Escalated the conversation and then hung up on my parents For someone who owns a bridal shop, where literally everything that comes through those doors is sentimental, I am baffled by the lack of care, common sense, and respect. A responsible professional would have: Inspected the headpiece carefully, Consulted Emily or called me before doing anything irreversible, Treated the item like the heirloom it was. Instead, she took wire cutters to a one-of-a-kind piece made by a mother for her daughter. To add insult to injury, she has refused to offer any meaningful solution other than letting her "fix" it again -- as if someone who destroyed it in two minutes could somehow replicate 20 years of jewelry craftsmanship. After this happened, I looked at other Google reviews. There are multiple recent complaints about this same seamstress ruining items and refusing to make things right. Their canned response is usually that the customer "approved" the work and is just changing their tune afterward. Based on my experience, I can confidently say: it's not that the customers are fickle -- it's that they're tired of dealing with someone who doesn't listen, doesn't take responsibility, and doesn't respect other people's artistry or belongings. I'm devastated. I trusted this shop with something irreplaceable. And they destroyed it without hesitation. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. Not for cleaning, not for preservation, not for alterations. If you value your dress, veil, or any part of your wedding ensemble -- take it somewhere else.

We found Sophia online, called, explained our issue and she simply said, "SURE! Get to me as soon as you can!" Some people may feel that she is rude, but I appreciate someone who values her time as well as mine. I think my I have spent 45 minutes (including changing) over 2 fittings (efficient and skilled is a wonderful combination) I dropped my wedding dress of March 22nd and had it back April 19th (wedding is April 30th). I did not need major alterations, and the beaded sash she added looks like it was part of the original dress design. The bustle is so simple I just need someone who can count to 5 to get all the hooks and loops. Make sure you take a look at her jewelry selection, I found my earrings, necklace and bracelet in her store. I wish I had looked around better in March, it would have saved myself fruitless hours of shopping. She also carries clutches and head pieces. Payment is a check when you drop your item off or cash when you pick up. I guess this was the only drawback because I didn't see the jewelry until I went to pick up my dress and didn't have enough cash on me to cover it and had to go back the next day. Prices seemed reasonable, but I have never had a wedding dress altered before.

We were here last Saturday shopping, but not for the happy occasion people are normally there for - my grandmother passed away so we needed a dress for her to wear for her funeral. Though we probably were a bit all over the place in what we were saying we wanted, Conlin did a great job of sifting through it, taking in the info from us and the pictures we showed of my mom-mom to give an idea of what we wanted. She pulled an option that was beautiful and we felt my grandmother would've liked/chosen herself. Conlin also helped us in finding some matching jewelry that complimented the dress. The cost of everything was actually pretty good and affordable in my opinion, considering it was a formal dress and jewelry. There was BOGO for the jewelry and, again, the dress itself was very reasonable. It has been a difficult time and that day was a very hard one, but I appreciate the care and understanding that was given to us. Thank you Conlin

While Tyson was wonderful during my initial dress fitting, my subsequent experiences have been extremely distressing. On April 17, 2026, I drove two hours to pick up my wedding dress. Upon arrival, I was not greeted and waited for 30 minutes. After someone finally took my name, another 15 minutes passed before I had to seek out a manager myself. She admitted she had forgotten about me and the purpose of my visit, despite my having just explained I was there for my dress. This made me feel completely overlooked during what should have been a happy milestone. I did not write a negative review because the manager was so kind. Furthermore, I still have not received my veil. Although I paid for shipping, I discovered it was not initially sent. After calling to follow up, I was not given tracking information. Even when they stated they will email me. When I called today she gave me the tracking number and upon review it stated it was delivered on April 28, 2026, but it never arrived at my address. Previous communication regarding this tracking information was also handled poorly. Given the significant investment I have made at your store, I expected a much higher level of service. I also have my dress alterations scheduled in August and I do not want to even deal with this company/location. I am not sure how to move forward with this situation. Since this is suppose to be a happy experience to get my dress and veil for my wedding. I am more stressed now because of all this.
