They do not normally have them pre-made but that means they are made up fresh. The people working here are always friendly as is typically the case with small towns. They have a good variety of fresh produce and plenty of selection of other grocery items and household goods. Their staff is always doing their best to help you find whatever you are looking for, as long as they carry it. They are conveniently located close to downtown Boscobel. Having been in operation for many years now, Piggly Wiggly is definitely a great addition to the town, but I'm not saying anything that locals don't already know!

They carried a good range from local cheese maker WW Homestead and also had a nice variety of Wisconsin cheeses along with some imports. The cider selection really came as a wonderful surprise, though. I used to cider being given a short shrift compared to beer. Instead, they had a great variety from local cideries, and I even bought a bottle from Belgium! My husband found a few new beers, too. If and when I come here again, I'd love to look through more of the store, even as I check on the cheese and cider anew. This is definitely my kind of place.

It took two staff members 20 minutes to make two sandwiches "made to order". We stood there and had no idea why it was taking forever. They did toast the bread. As pictured, I was glad they had GF bread but it made my sandwich much smaller. I got lettuce, red peppers, "avocado" the green paste you see on the lid, pepperjack and mayo. We bought a large bad of chips and a tea $2.29 and our total for two "no extras" sandwiches, the tea and one bag of chips was $24 and change. Still can't believe how puny the meal was. Only two veggies before you're charged .99 for extras. I expected it would be substantial and filling. Otherwise the store was clean, and has lot of options for foods and natural products.

This location has some of the worst customer service imaginable. I actually live right next to this store and drive to the Onalaska location to avoid being treated poorly. There is an older woman who I always see in the woman's fitting room, she is absolutely the worst. Super rude every time. I avoid trying things on now. I'd say half the employee interactions I've had here were negative, a few times absolutely rude. Shout out to that guy who wears a cape at the self check out area. He is the best thing about that store. Always super friendly, GREAT customer service. Definitely one of the only reasons I would come back. I saw him help someone in a wheelchair to their car in winter, it was amazing. He should teach customer service training.

Every staff member I came in contact with was smiling and asking if there was anything they could help me find and yes there was, Sushi! I love sushi and they have lots of it. My pedometer said I walked over 2 miles covering the whole store. They have everything I wanted. They are a little high priced on some items for what you get, although I found the quality worth the price. Wal-Mart has a lot of the same items and if you read the labels like I do you will discover that the price per is no different than Festival Foods. At Wal Mart it's the hidden price you have to look for. At Festival Foods You don't have to look, it's right there in fromt of you. The best thing is that all the items I bought cost me $11.00 less than they would have at Wal Mart. Plus I saved money on gas at kwik trip. Now tell me all you naysayers, What's not to like about Festival Foods. Now if I had 5 thumbs they would be all up for this place. Thank you for being my kind of super friendly place to shop.
