And they're packed with an incredible variety of quality merchandise. They have something for everyone. The prices are also very reasonable. I'd go so far as saying that Annie's Attic is one of the best antique malls within an hour drive outside the Twin Cities metro area. BTW, we stopped at the other places in Buffalo and they all paled in comparison to Annie's. (Unfortunately, we didn't make it in time to Walden Woods which looks like it might be pretty great.) I was up at a friend's cabin nearby and when the weather changed to rain, we stopped into Buffalo for some antique shopping. Buffalo Nickel was our first stop and no other store compared. Buffalo Nickel goes on and on and on. There are 2 levels and it can take some time to sort through all the goodies. There are adorable whimsy baby items, seasonal sections such as fall and Halloween, shoes, coffee cups, wall decor and more. You name it and they probably have it. Make sure to factor in extra time as to thoroughly go through each vendor, do expect to comb through items. I also appreciated the little coffee stand near the cashier with various baked goods. The prices were fair. I can't wait to return!! Open daily 10 am until 6 pm. I don't think the building has air conditioning so it was a little toasty. Some of the upstairs windows were open for ventilation.

I attended one of their flea markets today, that's when other antique vendors set up outside the perimeter of the house with their own goods. On flea market days, the white house items are an extra 20% off ( excluding sale items). All sales are final. Very fun place to walk thru, reminded me of all those antique shops in the Stillwater area. There are so many little spaces to discover and dig thru. In one of the rooms they even have free coffee to sample! Free parking in the lot next to it, in addition to free street parking in downtown Anoka. All the staff were welcoming and smiling as we came thru.

A piece of hardware, a drawer pull, on a vintage chest of drawers we own broke. I was dubious we could find a replacement that matched the existing item and thought at best we would have to replace all 12 pulls. We went to Architectural Antiques and they were able to help us find a replacement part (used of course! And since we brought the drawer they even installed the replacement part. The cost was minimal - much,much less than buying and installing all new hardware. The staff is upbeat and very helpful and they have everything from door knobs to light fixtures. It's an interesting place to go and browse.

They carry parts that have been salvaged from old buildings -- anything from a hinge, to parts for a door, to stained glass that has come out of churches and old houses. It's the place to look if you need a replacement, or if you want to add an antique cabinet, light, or window. I was able to find hinges that matched, when one broke, and I was able to find a door mechanism that fit our very strange front door lock (the door knob is in the center of the door, making the lock linkage extra long. Who shops there? Everyone from restaurants to businesses to average consumers. The people in the store miraculously know where everything is located and a very helpful. It's truly a treasure.

My son and my daughter wanted items and were told that the staff will hold on to it, these items were not locked up. My son bought an item and was told they will lower it to $10 but instead charged him $19. We have thrifted and antique shopped from Duluth all the way to Winona, we are local and decided to try this place for the first time and definitely the last. While you were busy following us thinking just because we are POC, we would steal, Dick and Jane over there were probably stealing. FYI, POC people like to thrift and antique shop too. I have never had this happen, this is the first time, which is just disgusting as we are locals. I'd much prefer the Antique 101 or Elk River Antique. Our POC money is just as good as a white persons. You don't have to follow us because of our skin color.
