Great Pizza. Owners are from Turin Italy in the Piedmont region. Super friendly customer service. I said it was my first time there and waitress patiently explained the entire menu including the menu board with specials. Pizzas are personal size at about a 12" size. It is thin all around and thicker towards the crust. It must be eaten with a fork due to its soft, chewy and tender consistency. It may look crispy like a cracker from the pics but its more on the soft side. Toppings are all fresh. All tomatoes are from Mt Vesuvius region of Italy. The pizza will blow your mind away. I've even been to the "L'antica Pizzeria da Michele" in Naples Italy. The granddaddy of them all. This pizza is on par with them in Naples Italy. Tiramisu, sorbet & limoncello are all killer. The first place we ate after traveling to London. The pizza was good different than what we are used to in the US. On that note the crust was nice and crunchy. The atmosphere was nice. We enjoyed the idea the front window was open so we had fresh air come in. Kind of gave the feel of being outside without having to be outside. We tried there in house beer which was tasty. So after a shaky start when I was ignored for a while, due to the restaurant being very understaffed, they turned my experience right around. Once I had ordered my pizza - a margherita. It was served to me within 5 minutes! Speedy service if I ever did see it! And the pizza, oh gawdddd the pizza was divine.. It was a gooey, cheesy mess and absolutely melted in my mouth!! This is a new pizzeria that's opened just within a 10 min walking distance from where i live. Now i came here for some lunch on a Sunday with my sisters before they took their train back up north. Once we were seated we placed our drinks orders straight away my sisters drinks came straight away (they had ordered lemonade) I however waited quite sometime before i received my water maybe asking for ice and lemon threw them off i am not sure. Our waitress and the staff in general were not that friendly and on occasions were to constant in asking if every thing was ok with our meals surely as once is enough. Our waitress also failed to point out the specials board which we only discovered once we placed our food order. Now the food -we all enjoyed our pizza's the base was soft and the ratio of topping to sauce was adequate. This is not the best Pizzeria I have been to or eaten but with it being just around the corner from where I live its an advantage. Its still a new restaurant in the area and therefore needs a lot of improvement with its customer service. read more

This restaurant just opened a few weeks ago on Kilburn High Road. We've been thinking to go there for a while, and finally got to try it ! We're aldready big fans of Franco Manca and this new restaurant again got all the boxes checked! Service was really friendly, the place is brand new, lovely, full of light and quite big. We ordered two lemonades (with orange, apparently) and two pizzas: one regular margherita (on an impulsion, I added courgettes) and my husband chose the one with mozzarella, ricotta, grana and courgette. Both were really good (the courgettes were really good and tasty, I don't know how they were cooked but I'd like the recipe :-)). We went there at lunch, no wait at all to be seated (plenty of empty tables) and our pizzas arrived really quickly. We passed by the place on evenings and there was often a small line of people waiting to be seated. Good to know : they don't have coke or that kind of sodas but their lemonade was really nice :) They also have orange and apple juice and No Logo craft beers. I've been to the South Ken Franco Manca and really enjoyed the pizza but found the atmosphere a bit claustrophobic as it's so cramped in. This branch is not too far from where I live and such a different experience. Light and airy and not a communal table in sight. Service was super fast, friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait to be seated (though it was a sunday night). Great value too - a bottle of prosecco is £20 and pizzas are a max of £8. Will definitely be back. My only criticism is my pizza could have been a touch more cooked in the centre. Very minor though. read more
