I called the Passport Health customer service to get more information and to make a very long story short. I called a total of 7 times in a span of 3 days. this was a summery of each call: 1 - "oh yeah we have a known issue with perscriptions not being filled. let me fix that. call back later." 2- A ticket was submitted but the nurse hasn't answered. I'LL GIVE YOU A CALL BACK TODAY (never happened) 3- looks like the nurse is out for the day. I'll put another ticket and WE'LL CALL YOU TOMORROW (never happend) 4- looks like the ticket was placed but the nurse hasn't filled it. I'LL CALL YOU BACK LATER TODAY. (never happened) 5- looks like the nurse isn't in today. CALL BACK TOMORROW. 6- the nurse is in and your ticket has been placed, we're waiitng for her to fulfill it. I'LL GIVE YOU A CALL ONCE SHE COMFIRMS FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING (yup, you guessed it, they never called) 7- looks like the nurse fulfilled your order. (jeez, thanks for the follow up people) It may seem like I may be impatient but my trip was only a day out and I couldn't leave without the medication. what should have been a "same day pickup" perscription turned into a near miss. to top it all off, when I called back the pharm they didn't have record of it because Passport Health didn't input my birthday correctly. luckily I got someone very helpful at the pharm who was willing to look into it and they were able to fix the issue and give me my medication. for the amount of money I spent with this company I am very disappointed in their service and follow through. I have no choise but to return for a follow up vaccine but I will not be using their services again nor will I recommend them to anyone. bonus fun fact: they sent me three follow up survays to rate my experiance but i "mysteriously" can't submit them when I give them a 1 star

Please do not go there!!! We were referred there by a…read moreprimary doctor. We were asked by the medical assistant and Dr why we were there. The doctor had never looked at the ct results and had to ask the assistant to get them. Why are we even there?! After dealing with referral issues for 2 weeks for a CT scan I called for a 4th time to tell them they had the referral wrong (first time it was the wrong fax, second time the order was incomplete, 3rd time they sent it to the wrong fax again (AFTER I GAVE THEM THE CORRECT NUMBER), 4th time to tell them the order was wrong AGAIN and that my mom would not be going there again. None of the staff that answer phones tell you their names, I asked the person dealing with the referral what her name was, her name is Juleny (from what I understood). After I told her he would not be going there and their service is horrible she hung up on me. I wasn't rude or anything and I was being very patient since my mom needs these appointments.

Frustrating Experience with Dr. Martha E. Lozano, MD - Avoid This Doctor!…read more I visited Dr. Martha E. Lozano, MD, to get a new CPAP machine after my old one started failing. I had been struggling for nearly a year to obtain a replacement due to insurance complications and provider changes. Initially, I went to Scripps Green, where they promised to rush my order, but my insurance denied it after Scripps Green opted out of my medical group. I then attempted to go through UCSD Medical, where I was originally diagnosed with sleep apnea, but they were fully booked for six months. After several failed attempts and even switching primary doctors--only to find out my original doctor could have placed the order--I was finally referred to Dr. Lozano. I was relieved to secure an appointment within two weeks. However, my initial visit was disappointing. Despite arriving early for paperwork, I waited over an hour before being seen. When I explained my urgent need for a CPAP machine, Dr. Lozano assured me she would rush the order, and I should receive it within two weeks. However, she insisted I needed a new sleep study--despite my existing diagnosis and previous study, which should have been sufficient. This was completely unnecessary and seemed like a tactic to bill my insurance for additional tests. Desperate to move forward, I reluctantly agreed. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. A week passed with no updates, so I called the office. After being placed on hold for ten minutes, I hung up and tried again--only to face the same issue. I then contacted my insurance, who attempted to reach the office as well. Despite multiple follow-ups, I never received a return call. One month passed. Then two months. Still, nothing. This experience was beyond frustrating. Instead of receiving timely care, I was met with delays, poor communication, and unnecessary hurdles. Doctors like this should have their license taken away! She ran unnecessary tests just to bill the insurance company--this is unacceptable! Please file a complaint against doctors like this! I've called 4-5 since the beginning of the year. I leave all the information they ask for and haven't had a response to date. Good for them but at least answer your phones and or call people back. I'll NEVER GO BACK TO Eastlake Sleep Study again!

The person I spoke to was terse and informed me that the first available appointment was July 8, 2025. Six months away. I took the appointment and asked to be put on a waiting list in case someone cancelled. I never heard anything during that 6 month period and I took that to mean there were no cancellations. In the weeks leading up to my July 8th appointment, I had a couple of quick questions so I called the office but I never heard back. I left three more messages over the weeks leading up to my appointment and never received a reply. The DAY BEFORE my appointment and the DAY OF my appointment, I tried to reach someone because I didn't have any information about where to go and what time. I never heard anything back. To say I am disappointed, is an understatement. Quite frankly, I am SHOCKED they are in business. The Yelp and Google reviews are right and I will be adding my voice to the justified complaints.

Stay away if you have Medicare. This location will tell you, after you have waited several hours…read moreto be seen by a video doctor that they don't accept Medicare. Since I had waited over 4 hours and since they were a PPO for my supplemental insurance, I went ahead. The doctor examines you remotely by computer screen (I assume that the doctor was actually in San Jose, since the bill came from a different doctor in SJ). Within a month my supplemental insurance sent me an Explanation of Benefits EOB) indicating ZERO patient responsibility and asking Action Urgent Care for a Medicare Summary. Action Urgent Care told my supplemental insurance that they would send the Medicare summary; they never did. A few months later I got a demand from a debt collector to pay the bill in full. Instead of working with my supplemental insurance, Action Urgent Care had instead sent the bill to a collection agency. I contacted my supplemental insurance company (FEP - Blue Cross/Blue Shield), a customer service rep spring to action making several conference calls with me on the line; first she contacted Medicare and found that Action Urgent care had not opted out of Medicare (required to not accept Medicare payments) and had never submitted a claim for the visit in late 2017. Then she contacted the collection agency who acknowledged filing failure to pay notices with the various credit agencies (My FICO scores dropped over 100 points). The collection agency in Bakersfield did this despite the insurance EOB showing ZERO patient's responsibility for the bill. They said they would retract the negative credit report if FEP sent them the EOB by FAX. Next we talked to Action Urgent care and their billing staff in San Jose said that of course they accepted Medicare and they would submit a claim to Medicare, contact the collection agency and it should be resolved in two weeks. I was told to monitor Medicare claims and see if the claim was filed. Three weeks later I contacted the FEP customer service rep, we determined that Action Urgent Care and the collection agency had done nothing. Action Urgent Care had been stringing FEP along for several months by now and had actually done nothing even when threatened with violation of their PPO contractual agreement with FEP Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Once again by conference call we contacted Action Urgent Care, their billing clerk on the phone, again couldn't explain the problem, until she noticed a footnote on the screen indication that the Action Urgent Care location was inside a Safeway store. She some only a few Safeway locations, up around Stockton, accept Medicare. Actually the Chula Vista location is in a Vons store, that years ago was a Safeway. IT seems they don't update their data base. Still they hadn't officially opted out of Medicare and again said they would submit a claim to Medicare. This time a claim was actually sent to Medicare who processed in 9 days later. The next day I sent the Medicare summary to FEP who paid the benefits to Action Urgent Care three days later. Action Urgent Care closed my billing account several months before when they sent it to the collection agency, so I have no final disposition from them showing the bill paid i full; just a new EOB from FEP with zero patient responsibility. I am now waiting to see if/when the negative credit reports are all retracted as promised. Fortunately I am retired from the Federal Government; the negative credit reports filed by the collection agency would have been grounds for revocation of my security clearance and removal from my DOD job. Since this visit last December, four new Urgent care facilities have opened, closer to my home, and they accept Medicare and are PPO facilities. There are much better alternatives to Action Urgent Care.
