Within weeks we realized what a gem of a place Peace is and moved our older child. The teachers are top-notch. From the young 2s to TK (we've done them all!) there is a perfect blend of play and academics. Both of our children have segued easily from Peace elementary school and were well prepared emotionally, socially, and academically. The class sizes are small and the focus is continually on what each individual child needs. They are greeted warmly, by name, from the car line each morning and look forward to school each day. Our class did cover the required curriculum but it was also educational in the reasons why NOT to shoot and how to carry defensively. A lot of technical information was covered during our eight hours, including the required practical shooting at the range (Mecklenburg Wildlife Club, not terribly far away). Dan's class is well organized and had plenty of interaction from the other students. Lots of "what if?" questions were answered in detail.
