My friend's husband got us both a package for Christmas last year and we FINALLY found a time to go!! We did the full package I think it was called the Tuscan. It included a massage, facial, mani, pedi and blow dry/style. With the package you get to bounce around the spa and salon from person to person. I had the pleasure of meeting Lindsey, Kate and Gianni. I hope I spelled their names correctly.... The massage was first and by far my favorite thing. It was so relaxing. It was not deep tissue or anything, I know I probably need a deep tissue one, but in the meantime I will take anything that helps me relax, I don't relax often. The bed was nice warm, the massage felt nice and long, nothing was rushed. My head and neck were my favorite part. After the massage she flowed nicely into a facial. I was aware my skin is dry (especially in the winter) but I was not aware how dry until that facial. This was an eye-opener for sure. I also did not realize how many black heads I had on my nose. She did what is called an extraction, let me tell you, I was not expecting the pain that is involved in that process. I kind of wish she had done the facial first because the pain of that wiped away any relaxation the massage brought. I would say next time I'll pass on the extractions on my spa day. Next we had lunch in the spa. They brought in panera for us which was great! Then we were brought into the nail salon section. Mani's first. I loved the simple chatting. I honestly think manicures are not worth the money because I always chip mine within the day, I probably should have asked if I could pay to upgrade to the gel stuff for my upcoming holiday party but oh well, this was a gift and my nails do look pretty. I usually keep them long so having them trimmed to be even is hard to get used to. But the highlight of just chatting with the girls in the nail salon. It was so chill and friendly! Everyone was fun. Then I got to go meet Gianni, he is such a rockstar. I love him. He is a cool person, which great style and we just cracked each other up. He styled my hair so great. I shouldn't admit this, but I didnt wash my hair for 2 days so I could continue to wear my hair the cute way he styled it, and it still looked great TWO DAYS LATER!! That is some kind of magic! I dont know what deal he made with the devil to that amazing, but I want in on it! Overall an amazing time, I will definitely come back for a massage and to get my hair done!! I hear they do eyelash extensions now too, I've definitely been wanting to try those! read more

Does anyone know the owner of Francescos Hair Salon in Mentor? Or how to get a hold of them? I had my hair done (roots) first time being there. The person who did my hair did a not so good job. My hair is the darkest of brown. I had my roots done. Told her my hair needs lots of warmth. She came and checked it 3 times. She said it was perfect and the brown was so rich and beautiful. With their lighting, it was hard to see. But she assured me it was perfect. Came home. My roots were like 4x lighter than my natural color. I called immediately. Told them of the situation. I took pics just for my record and to show her. It was all of my roots. I came in a week later (her soonest available), and she redid the roots. Used a darker color. And said it would cost me 15.00-20.00 more. I said, "What?" She didn't do it right the first time. She said I still had to pay for the product.. wth? No choice, I had her do it, I was going to not pay, but I felt I best pay, but I would contact the manager and / or owner. I had a meeting on Monday and needed it done. As I checked out, the receptionist asked if I'd like to add the tip on the card? I said, "No." I asked the receptionist if making the customer pay for the hair dressers mistake is common. She replied, "That's what the manager tells us to do." Is this a common practice that I have never heard of? I've been to many places in the past, and I have never heard of this or had this happen. So my 68.00 root color turned into 84.00 and then asked for an additional tip? read more

Highly recommend Laura! I went in as a walk-in looking to fix my botched haircut I received at another hair salon. Laura was able to squeeze me into her schedule and fix my hair! She took her time to ask questions and really made sure I was happy with the cut. I can't wait to schedule my next visit! read more

I absolutely love this place and my stylist but recently very disappointed. In lieu of the recent pandemic this company is charging each of their clients an extra $7.00 for the mandatory use of having to wear one of their face masks (without notice of the extra charge when you schedule your appointment) even if you are wearing your own. Seeing as how we are a 6 person family it adds up quick! Recently when I brought my 2yo son in to get his hair cut I was still charged the extra $7.00 for a mask even though he is NOT required by the CDC at 2 years old to wear a mask! This company is at a loss from the pandemic and now they are trying to catch up on profit! This is NOT the right way to do it! I should have subtracted the tip amount I gave to my stylist which is unfortunate because she's really good. read more

Today was my 3rd visit to Francesco's with their massage therapist, Brittany. She's very thorough and truly listens to her clients needs. She doesn't rush you and let's you have a true spa experience! read more

I have never been very good at selecting gifts for people for holidays and special occasions. It is most difficult for me to buy gifts for my wife. I always by the wrong size, color or style in clothing. Appliances are an insult to her. Jewelry is very personal to her and not something I should choose on my own. For her birthday this year I thought it might be nice to get her a spa day. I researched different salons and came across Francesco's in Mentor, Ohio. The website was easy to navigate, had a lot of information on it and aesthetically caught my attention. I stopped in to check it out. That, in itself, was difficult for me. I'm not one to usually step out of my shell to do something like this. Upon entering the salon I immediately felt comfortable with the surroundings and greetings from the staff. I asked about rates and looked around at the facilities. I purchased a spa package for my wife and her lifelong girlfriend, whose birthday had also fallen in the same week. I was excited to present my gift at a huge annual party we have every year around Christmas. I planned everything out on how I would present it. But, to my discouragement, one of the employees had called my wife to inquire about her gift card because their computers had made an error in authorizing them. I was devastated, hurt and even a little angry that I would not be able to follow through with my plan. I went by the salon the following day to express my disappointment and to cancel the spa day. I spoke with Kim and then with Tony. Both were immensely apologetic. They assured me it was an oversite and that they would, "Make it right," with me. Tony was great. He personally took an interest in making the day memorable for my wife and her friend. They both enjoyed the treatment they received, the friendliness of the staff and the facilities. I recommend using Francesco's for your next spa day plans. read more

I went to get my nails done and Jess did a great job. It was my first time at the salon. I checked in and had a seat. I didn't know the check in person told me to head to the back where the nails are done. I have never been there before, so how was I supposed to know where to go. It should show in the system that I was a first time guest and someone should have came to get me or brought me to the back. I wish there were more colors to choose from. I didn't like the color selection for gels. I'm used to other nail salons that has a wall full of colors or color swatches to choose from. I do recommend Jess for nails though. She was very nice and did a good job. read more

I have been getting weekly massages for almost two years. My regular massage person went on vacation for two weeks so I decided to try something new -- but ended up switching over to Francesco's completely. My reasons for the change are: 1) better bed (softer, more comfortable on face) 2) better massage (more attentive touch, more relaxing overall) 3) steam shower included after massage 4) many small details that add up (lighting, friendly staff, cleanliness, parking, etc) I am thankful to have discovered this place! read more

I absolutely love the Spa! I go to Tiffany for waxing and she is adorable- kind- sweet and just has a relaxing, sincere energy. The Spa area is so calming and peaceful - a true getaway to relax your mind and get a little pampering or energy reset. Prices are reasonable and locations is close to Marshall's and DSW! I've had good experiences every time I've been here in the past but this time the hairdresser was not careful and got bleach on my brand new purse .. it's obviously ruined . I moved it away right away and she said that she wiped it off . well it bleached it . When I told the receptionist at the front what happened she said well " do you want to talk to the hairdresser because she might have a guilty conscience " I'm like what are your policies if you ruin someones purse ? and she had no idea what she was doing and couldn't comprehend anything . I went to pay and she could barely do that . I will never go back there . I didn't go there to get a $300 purse ruined and still she asked if I was going to tip after I got my purse ruined . unfortunately I did tip and I wish I didn't . would not recommend. did nothing to compensate. still paid full price and tipped for a partial that cost less than my purse . read more

This was the worst Toe polish change I think I have ever had. The website is misleading. Description: Toe Polish Change $20 Soak your feet in a warm bath to soften the skin, cuticles are groomed, nails are shaped and an application of the polish of your choice applied. There was no soaking or cuticle grooming. When I mentioned it to both the technician and front desk the response was "oh we have to update the website ". That was a month ago, I just checked the website and it hasn't been updated. Never again will I patronize. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my visit for a facial at Francesco's. I cannot recommend it at all. The aesthetician was not personable, did not explain what she was doing and when she was done, she said "did I talk to you about products?". When I said no, she went away and came back with a introductory box with small quantities of the facewash, lotion and other lotion. She just handed it to me. She didn't explain how to use them or why she recommended this package over some sort of individualized approach - just "you can pay upfront." I asked her a handful of questions about my skin while she was doing the facial and if I got a real answer at all, it was unsatisfactory. On top of that, they "LOST" MY NEW WATCH. The aesthetician removed my watch during a hand massage. I forgot about it by the time she was done. When I called the next morning, the receptionist said they would look for it and call me back. Which she never did. When I called again they said the same thing. But that day they did call me back and said they searched everywhere and couldn't find it. She told me that it got put in my robe. Like it was my fault that I forgot to take it out of my robe. On top of that, my aesthetician did not tell me anything when she took my watch off. Now let's think for a second about how a WATCH could just disappear. Francesco's bills itself as a spa. That doesn't sound like a place that is irresponsible about its cleanliness. Seems unlikely the watch got sucked up by the washing machine or swept up with the hair on the floor. All I got was "sorry we couldn't find it." No, "we value you as a customer and we're so sorry, so here's a gift certificate for another visit." Nothing. read more

This salon and spa is definitely not worth the prices they are charging. They use very little products on your hands and feet. They have a bunch of young teenagers who have been doing nails and feet for a little more than 6 months. When I called to make the appointnent I was told the computers were down the young girl on the phone was not very friendly. She told me that once the computers came back up she would call to schedule my appointment. She never did so I called back and spoke with someone else and they scheduled my appointment. The nail tech Bailey was suppose to do a Spa manicure but she did a basic manicure adding shellac. Bailey was sweet and friendly and did a nice job painting my nails but it was not worth $40 . The staff was not that friendly and welcoming to me and my daughter. I don't know if it was becaise we're African American because I didn't see any minority staff or customers the entire time we were there. We will continue to go to Marengo Spa and the spa at Pinecrest. And, we would never recommend this spa to anyone. read more

The BEST Facial Ever! Who would have thought I'd get the Best Facial Ever in my own back yard? But, I sure did! I scheduled with Leslie who gave me the Myoxy Caviar Facial -it's one for Anti-Aging. First, Leslie has great hands and it was very relaxing - I have some jaw issues and have an appliance in my mouth and my muscles in my head and face are very sore from the jaw being rearranged, I left there with less pain and no headache!. Second, the facial is very cool because it hardens into a mask - I even brought it home so I could show the family and take a picture :). Third, it actually did what she said it would do. I've had facial at resorts, on cruise ships and fancy schmancy hotels and the Myoxy Caviar Facial from Leslie was truly the best one ever! Treat yourself soon to one of Leslie's Facials - you will love it! PS. I uploaded a picture of the mask if you want to check it out. read more

I've been getting Brazilian bikini waxes for nearly 10 years and the one I received at Francesco's Salon was hands down the worst I've ever had. The entire process was the most painful and drawnout I've ever experienced-- after 30+ minutes of pain, not all of the hair was removed, but the esthetician was "finished." And I was left with an incomplete Brazilian and wax everywhere. The following day, I called the salon to request a partial refund, since I'd only received a partial service, and was met with hostility and attitude from the salon manager. After more than 15 minutes on the phone with her, she finally refunded me $30 of the $65 (minus tax and tip). HORRIBLE customer service. There are plenty of other salons in the Cleveland area (Ladies and Gentlemen, etc) that know how to complete the services they offer and still treat their clients with respect-- take your money elsewhere! read more

I wanted to take the time to thank Leslie @ Francesco's. She is truly amazing. I have had many services with Leslie and must say she is terrific. I go to spas all over the country, primarily The Homestead in VA. I didn't think anyone could come close to the experience there, but Leslie did. She is caring, knowledgeable and skilled in her profession. Thank you Leslie. read more
