I am extremely disappointed in the level of unprofessionalism displayed by the store manager,…read moreRachel, during my recent visit. I was helping my daughter try on dresses and briefly asked my husband to come look at one she had on. Rachel approached us with an unnecessarily sarcastic tone to tell us men weren't allowed in the fitting area. We respected the policy immediately. The issue was her attitude, not the rule. My husband and I discussed the policy between ourselves after looking it up. We were not speaking to her, yet she seemed offended simply because we were talking about the store's rules. Instead of focusing on her responsibilities. We found a dress my daughter loved and went to check out. A employee, Esmeralda, began helping us. She was polite and professional at first. Then Rachel inserted herself again, uninvited. I calmly asked if Esmeralda could finish the transaction due to our earlier interaction. Rachel refused, stating, "I'm the manager," and then stood there refusing to ring up the dress.(SHE WAS LITERALLY JUST STARING AT THE DRESS ) When we told her she could proceed and we dont know why she has to be so hostile and act like that suddenly rachel said, "No. You can leave." My husband asked if she was really refusing to sell the dress. Her response: "She can find another. Leave." This was retaliatory, inappropriate, and a clear abuse of authority. A manager should never escalate a situation or deny service over a personal issue she created. Rachel's behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely unacceptable for someone in a leadership role. At the end of it her and esmeralda were waving and taunting i will be sending those pics and videos to corporate. Corporate needs to address this, because families should not be treated this way.

I asked the manager if he could move it or take it off - for just a few minutes while I try to the shoes on to see if they fit. I was fine with being supervised while trying them on. And the manager told he very rudely that he couldn't because there are a lot of thieves in the store - and he implied that I was a thief. The shoes were also a clearance and I was told they were non refundable. I'm not going to purchase shoes that are non returnable if I cannot even try them on. I will not be visiting this Ross again.

(Made this acct specifically or this review.)…read more I absolutely love ross and all, but my main problem is their official website. You can't see clothes on there, just "inspo" or random outfits that people post on their social media which is then plastered on there that you probably won't even be able to find in-store. It's already bad enough that I have to physically go to the store just to see what they have, and often then not be disappointed since I often see clothes that are for middle aged Facebook moms or for 7 year Olds, and barely anything for teens that would be good to wear for recent trends or aesthetics. I've found some cool stuff like Nirvana graphic tees and some cool pants, but the rest is just questionable patterns, basic cut shirts with just a solid color, cheesey quotes, logos, etc. Again, I love ross and it's cheap prices on certain items you won't see in other stores, but the fact that it's official world-wide website is absolute garbage, and you have to go to the store in person is in my personal opinion; Extremely dumb. Im sure if Ross just made their website actually usable and not a place to just dump a bunch of pictures of outfits and decor, then they'd probably, no, definitely make more sales and reach their targeted demographic.

These weren't worn-out items. Many pieces were either unworn or in excellent condition. They called us back and said they decided not to take anything due to the "condition." Three full bags. All rejected. It was honestly a huge waste of time -- especially when you take the effort to carefully select higher-end, on-trend brands. Out of curiosity, we brought the exact same bags to Plato's Closet beforehand. They offered us over $200 for everything. So clearly, the "condition" wasn't the issue. Safe to say we'll be taking our business to Plato's Closet from now on. If you value your time and have quality brands, you might want to consider doing the same. Will include pictures of the clothes below!!

They took over 2 hours to go through my clothes and then had the nerve to call me and tell me that they couldn't make an offer on any of my items because they were older styles. Then they asked me if I wanted to donate my items. Why would I donate my items to a place that's going to turn around and sell them for an exorbitant profit. I think they were hoping that I wouldn't go back to pick up my items so they can make a profit off of me.
