There were some good deals we couldn't pass up today. I have been shopping at NBC for a long time…read more I am glad they have changed immensely over the years. You now have all the deals' info sent you your emails or texts. I had fun shopping for the things that were on the tag sales.. don't forget to stop and shop, before you hit the mails or other retailers. I recommend if you have the time.. you never know what deal awaits throughout the week!!

I have been frequenting this chain for almost 2 decades. I've now lived in CA for almost 8 years and am soooo sad this chain hasn't moved this far west after all this time! I've found nothing like it out here at all. I'm a HUGE thrifter and NBC definitely isn't near as cheap as thrift stores, BUT thrift stores rarely have clothes with store tags on them whereas most of NBC's stuff does have those tags. My sister and I have called NBC the "no holes, no stains" store for years and years because you really have to be careful here with stuff since a lot of it has one or both of those things wrong haha. I haven't been to this location in 4 years or so until last week. In that amount of time, I'll say their prices have certainly gone up, but what place hasn't raised their prices. At this location, note all the super sales are in the wing off to the right of the front door. On the main floor, the sale stuff will be along the walls mostly. You can spend hours in the super sale wing, but be careful for flaws in that section - check for working zippers, missing buttons, rips, holes, stains, and whack issues with stitching (like an arm being stitched closed lol). They do have a decent amount of kids stuff in the back, but that section is an absolute hot mess, especially looking for littler kid stuff (under 6x) like I was. My biggest splurge and best find ever at this store was during my last visit - a $450 All Saints lamb skin leather jacket in my size with store tags still on it for $65! It was a grey tag marked at $112 and that color was 40% off. I couldn't believe what a find this one was! There was only a slight imperfection on the leather that I could see, a tiny line of discoloration, maybe a like a slight scratch that didn't break the leather, but left a small mark. Literally no one will notice, so totally worth it!

If you have no idea what Torrid is, they used to be a plus size version of Hot Topic. Very goth and punk rock with lots of band tees. Within the last 8 or so years they've changed their image a bit and now offer trendy pieces and career wear for the younger crowd. They are also supposedly famous for their jeans but I haven't gotten a chance to try them yet. This location is a good size, and even though they were hit hard first thing this morning the store was still tidy when I went in around 11:30. The workers were super nice and helpful, and the girl working the dressing room was really good about checking on customers (seeing if they needed another size, etc without being pushy) when the line got long. Speaking of the dressing rooms, they each had their own fan! This is so important when you're trying on lots of clothes b/c it can get warm back there. This store seemed to have most of the items on the website but in limited sizes. They do offer free shipping from the website to the store if they don't have your size in something. There didn't seem to be a shoe section like the OKC store, they were just scattered around the store on different shelves. Large lingerie section in the back. They have a few purses scattered around, and a few racks of hosiery, but the selection was small unless you were buying leggings. I bet this will be switched out for springtime and replaced with more socks. Cute store and stocked all around. So happy they are here, I will definitely be back!

Seemed annoyed when people asked for help. After waiting to be checked out, the cashier was very unknowledgeable about the product. Poor customer service like this is why I try to do my shopping elsewhere and online.
