I've been to some cool places like Atlanta, Montreal, Halifax, Anaheim, Reno, Calgary, Quebec City, etc. Its a three day affair that ends with a Banquet and Ball. In 2015 I became a national officer, and one of our traditions is that officers wear a white dinner jacket at the Annual Banquet and Ball. So years ago I bought a white dinner jacket from K&G. But over the years, some things have changed. First of all, K&G has moved to this current location, and second of all, I'm now down about 50 pounds from where I was when I first donned that white jacket. So now you you know the backstory of why I returned to K&G to buy a somewhat better fitting white jacket today. I found a beauty! It was more of a white tux jacket with black lapels, and man oh man was it sharp looking. I really wanted it but it had a tiny smudge on the left lapel and although it was close to my size, it wasn't exactly my size. Now this is where K&G's fantastic customer service swung into action. Valerie heard my dilemma and said there were no jackets in the style and size I wanted, but she walked us up front, called their Orange store, confirmed they had EXACTLY what I wanted, and arranged for them to hold it for me. We were there an hour later and bought it. I did buy a white vest in Manchester, and one of the cool things about K&G is if you text a code to them you'll get some sort of a discount. So we did that at both locations and saved $5 on the vest and $10 on the coat. After the discounts, the vest cost $29.99 and that sharp looking coat Joe Jackson sang about cost $89.99 (pre-tax). I could not have been more pleased with today's K&G experience.

These were two of the best purchases that I have made in awhile and I also got texted a coupon for 25% off my entire purchase. I saved more than $80! The store in general is well stocked with ever imaginable size available. I'm not a fan of dressing rooms but was happy they had a Covid plan of leave what you do not want behind. All staff were wearing their masks properly with sanitizers and masks available at the already opened door. Pants range to the 40-60 dollar range and you have your typical prices for your hoodies, shirts, socks, etc. I signed up for the rewards program only because I was halfway to a $100 gift card. The store is a substantial size, most of it is women's clothes, shoes, and some accessories. They also have some items for men. They had a ton of hoodies on the racks, they had so many that it was difficult to see them, or to pull them out. They had a whole table off UGG shoes and boots, these were at average $70. Why bother buying them here, when you could get them brand new at Nordstrom Rack, for a very similar price? The prices in general made no sense to me. They did have some "formal" dresses and shoes. My overall impression is the lower priced items can be found at Marshalls and Burlington, and the higher priced can be found at Nordstrom Rack or Amazon. Based on my observation, they are very particular on what they buy from you, and for how much.
