Job started, In at 9 and leave at 11, in at 10 leave at 2, no show 2days. At the end of the 10th work day (Uri) and 33 hrs. on job I called super for help (Omar). After the 13th day I gave up on the idea of bath b and I called the main office for help (Bryan & Christina) and asked please come out and just look at the job being done here and tell me if this is the quality of work you represent. Omar finally came out and said I can't believe this and this will have to be redone. They were having trouble scheduling and we had our spring vacation coming up so we gave them the keys to the house and said we will be back on this day it's all yours. Returned home Sunday afternoon at 4 (one week on vaca and 6 weeks after job start) and Troy is loading up his tools. The main room is 90% and at this point I'm happy with that but I walked into the bath and nothing had been done there to finish, the same as (Uri) left it, missing base board molding, unfinished drywall. If you have anything beyond 1 man, one day, patch and repair stay away. Poor supervision, poor follow up.

From the start they worked with us to plan, design and execute the dream we had for our forever home. Their communication and service really impressed us, on top of the beautiful work they do! We love our new "old" house and all the memories we are already making in it thanks to Jamie and Lakenridge Builders! Here are some before and after shots to see just how talented they are!

Do not make the same mistake we did! After…read morebuilding three homes, our experience with Lakenridge Builders was by far the worst. We experienced significant cost increases, poor communication, delays, and disappointing workmanship. The 20% contractor fee structure resulted in costs far beyond what we expected, and we often struggled to get clear explanation for additional charges. We also moved into a home with unfinished work and problems that required our time and money to correct. Based on our experience, we would never recommend Lakenridge Builders.

He did come originally when he stated he would, and brought a worker with him. They supposedly repaired the leaks, stating that he stood behind his work, and that he would come back if the leak continues and fix it at no extra cost to me until I was satisfied that the gutters no longer leaked on the outside and inside of my sunroom. It still leaked. He returned once, took a look, stated that the under plywood was wet from rain due to the leak and once it dried, within a few days; there would no longer be a leak since he repaired the gutters; no more rain could get in. He promised me that! Several Weeks later, the leak continues. He has not returned, and no longer answers my text messages. F/U, The Contractor Eddie contacted me today, and refunded me a fair amount of the money I'd paid him, and apologized for not contacting me last week as promised. Of course the gutter problem has still not been resolved.

We were extremely distraught, fearing that our home would not be corrected properly and that its resale value would be significantly compromised. To complicate matters, we have popcorn ceilings and did not want three rooms with flat ceilings while the rest of the house remained textured. We decided to have the damaged areas corrected to match the existing popcorn texture. We asked the insulation installer to contact Humphrey Drywall of High Point, NC, as we had previously used them for a small job with excellent results. Brian and Speedy from Humphrey Drywall did a fabulous job restoring our ceilings to perfect condition. They are true miracle workers--there is absolutely no discernible difference between the repaired areas and the rest of the ceilings. They are one of the few drywall companies capable of working with popcorn ceilings, and they are the absolute best at their craft. I wholeheartedly recommend Brian and Speedy, at Humphrey Drywall, for any drywall or painting projects. If your home still has popcorn ceilings like ours, Humphrey Drywall is the only company to call.
