They will not give you a total until thev see what the insurance is going to pay... And if you are in NC their contract means NOTHING! They can not hold vou to their contract in the state of NC per my insurance adiuster. So if you have signed anvthing, but no work has been done, then back out now! Thev are going to tell you that if you back out you will owe them 20% or $2500 whichever is greater... thats a lie in NC! I wish i had someone to tell me. so im sharing this with whoever will listen! They will lie to you and tell you they are going to get you all this money in supplements.. Remember that word if nothing else! Watch and see how many times they use that term! Thats how they bait and hook you! We were led to believe this lie, and now thev think we are stuck with a bill from them even thouah thev cashed our check from our mortgage company, took their money, then it took severa weeks for them to even approve our remaining amount to be released back to us! At that point thev were paid for their services. Now they are saying we owe them the supplemental balance.. Sound familiar? Run far from this company and do not look back! Todd Dimock is a liar and wil smile in vour face while feeding you a load of crap! He is going to tell you "ive been doing this for 20 plus years" "I know what im talking about" Believe me or the salesman.. up to you! Their "regional manager" James will talk to you like a child and make out like vou are the liar. He will fast talk you until you feel good. Their contractors also scratched our brand new siding, porch railing, our AC unit and broke my outdoor lighting, Their fix was rv wax! They polished our railing and wanted to bribe us with $300 so they wouldnt have to come address the rest of it. Our roof stack was never replaced, our downspouts are not centered with our porch columns (the origina downspouts were) and they are saying our porch columns are what's wrong. Its been 8 months and we are still dealing with this. I was told today that the smoke stack on my roof would not be replaced because they couldn't find one to fit it. Isn't that part of the 13k they charged my insurance company? Its aluminum so you could imagine the damage from this hail storm. Which by the way totalled every vehicle i own. Lets pretend like we had zero issues from start to finish for a second... would you get paid if you didnt do your job? Or would you get paid for more hours if you told your company they owed you more money after receiving a check that covered your hrs worked? I could go on for days with the lies from this company. I have left out so much, but im tired of typing! I hope I got my point across well enough. I know im scattered, but there is so much its hard to stay on track. I hope this helps someone out there. PLEASE take this seriously. Im not disgruntled or trying to get out of paying them. We dont owe them a dime.. thats the point. Everything I said is 100% factual and if anyone wants to reach out personally, find me on Facebook. I will be happy to show proof! If my name isnt attached to this review, it is on the google review i left. It says pretty much the same thing. I copied and pasted the first half so you cant miss it. Thanks for reading

They gave us an estimate, we signed the contract, they asked for a 50% deposit, and we were told the roofers would be there next week. They never came. We were told their truck broke down, but after a month of constant lies, we just wanted our money back. It was over $4,000 and they didn't have it. We have been taking smaller payments for the past year. Each payment has been very difficult to obtain with lies and more lies until we finally got $1,000 or so. Once they gave us a bad check , so we had to go to cashier's checks. Now the balance they owe us is $1,700 and I don't believe they will ever pay it. I have spoken to Adam File, the principal operator, and he has continued to lie, saying he would be over "this afternoon" day after day, but never showing up. I want to warn the public never to give this company any money.

Owning property is never a dull moment!…read more During a heavy storm, the tenant in my loft let me know that there was water dripping inside along the wall. The age of the roofs on the property is unknown and always being concerned for ANY leaks, I immediately got into Yelp to put out a project request to find a roofer. Storm Damage responded right away on a Sunday and was able to meet the next day to give an onsite estimate. Given the steep roofline of the barn house style roofing and immediate need given another upcoming storm, the quote was definitely reasonable. Given the short notice and upcoming weather, they put a tarp across the roof to prevent anymore leaking. At the first break in the weather 2 days later, they were on it and got to work. It's a tight area around the unit, so giving a heads up to my neighbors was important. That said, they cleaned up all debris on my side and my neighbors as if they were never there! Huge!!! I have a roof on the main property and a permanent shed left to do. I will be sure to call them back for the next jobs. Thank you guys!!!

Two years ago, when I wanted to replace my roof, I interviewed six different companies. I settled…read moreon the company I had dealt with annually for over a decade thinking our relationship would assure me of a good job. In this world of so many scammers, it is very difficult to find an honest company, let alone one that does excellent work as well. Thanks to the recent historic storms, I developed what I thought were roof leaks. I have since learned that this was caused by ice dams, a very rare event in the south. When I contacted the company that installed my new roof they refused to come out. They said "Let the sun melt it and you'll be fine." So, I thought "They must know what they are talking about." I'm not a roofer and though that didn't fit with my common sense, what could I do? Plus, I had paid for an extra long, extra comprehensive warranty at the time the new roof was installed. I posted about my experience on social media and was contacted by Luke from Old Timers Roofing who advised I should take care of it now to prevent more damage, and that they did that kind of work. I'm always leery of someone who contacts me through social media saying "I can fix that" because you never know if they are the real thing or just someone trying to earn a quick buck who really doesn't have the experience and knowledge. I researched the BBB and several other sources that rated them highly. So I decided to give them a chance. Luke informed me that most warranties would not cover ice damage because it was so rare in the south. Strange that my old company didn't mention that but when I called them back they said Luke was right. Luke referred me to the owner, Josh, who immediately sent out TJ to break up the ice dams. All three assured me my roof would be fine but, if I hadn't cleared the ice dams, I could have had serious damage. I couldn't believe someone would even come out in this weather. I feel much better knowing that as a result of their efforts, I won't have more damage. TJ also recommended I have a water mitigation company check for damage though he thought mine was probably slight. I appreciated that advice as this was all new to me. As someone who is not wealthy, I was very concerned about the cost for Old Timers to break up the ice dams but knew it had to be taken care of to avoid even more expensive repairs down the road. I was stunned when Josh refused payment. My only regret is that I didn't hire them to put on the new roof. I always have my roof inspected three times a year to identify problems before they become serious. Despite having a warranty I will now be using Old Timers Roofing as I have lost confidence in the company who put on my new roof. I had been their customer for over a decade. I highly recommend you contact Old Timers Roofing for any roofing needs. They have shown themselves to truly have "Old Timers" values of honesty, hard work and knowledge. I doubt you can find a better roofing company. Thank you Josh, Luke and TJ! God bless you and keep you safe! UPDATE: A month later I had the company that installed the roof to check it, once all snow and ice were gone. Thanks to TJ's work I had NO ice damage, nor water issues inside. Thanks again Old Timers!
