They did a great job framing a painting for me, handling a special request quickly and with ease.

Recently had 3 paintings framed by Jeramie. He did a great job at a reasonable price. The artworks look better than ever! Highly recommend!

The staff was very energetic to get me close to all the things I've wanted to pick up. I'm so happy that they are so knowledgeable about everything they have. I'm so happy to be in their care!! A fantastic selection!! I of course, wanted to walk down every aisle and look at every treasure. It really is amazing to be here!! It's like a dream!!! I was able to pick up a lot of linocut, goodies, nice paper, canvas & new carving tools . It is such a huge building, filled with goodies! I'm ready to start the new year! Thanks to you and your lovely team. Everything is so tidy and organized and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks for all you do. I am so happy with my purchases and I can't wait to come back!!!

First floor is a cornocopia of delights and then there is the basement with color splayed all over in random style. Floors painted. Well at least how I remember it. So I hunted for art supplies in Philly on a whim, and there was a sibling! And wandering around on Yelp, I've found yet another! This A&C S is the smallest of the three that I have been so lucky to visit. There is something to be said for a downstairs space to rummage and roam for treasure. While this one is one floor, it is still a worthy member of the clan. I tried to go for just one or two items, but ended up with a slew of pens and pencils. My only regret was the fact that my carry on was the limit, not the items in the store. The staff were a great balance of attentive and laissez-faire. I like being able to enjoy looking at things and touching things without feeling weird or feeling as though sales folks are going to vulture me. I felt welcomed and a part of the store, but not smothered. Also the staff was friendly with each other but did not ignore a single customer in their reach. I liked that balance.

Having never been to this store before and new to the area, I went off the minimal, yet positive…read morereviews for this business, to get my two posters framed. I parked in a small lot and all I saw was a pizza place and a homeless dude sitting outside of another faded storefront. I left my poster tubes in the car to make sure I was in the right place. As I walked up to the storefront with the homeless dude, a silver pony-tailed guy channeling Jeff Goldblum literally jumped out of nowhere from behind to confront me about the parking lot being for customers only. Didn't say who he was or even ask if I needed help. He assumed I was walking away down the street. I asked him how he didn't know I had posters to frame. He said because I was walking to the sidewalk. Well...the handwritten sign inside the shop did have an arrow pointing to go around to the street side to ring the bell! Guess he forgot his own sign. After a minor spat over his adamant disbelief that I actually had posters to frame, I walked back to my car and "magically" produced two poster tubes. He sighed and put his hands up..."ahhhh, man...well, you wanna come in?" I laughed and justifiably called him a ....... for losing $600+ in business for making assumptions, when instead of asking if I needed help he assumed I was going to some other store down the street. He then said "I'm not really taking on new customers anyway." Riiiiight. No bare walls is certainly barren of any brains.
