After we finally moved in to our new place and recovered everything from storage, we determined that we needed to finally have everything framed to display on our walls. Framers One popped up on my Yelp radar with a high rating of 5.0 and every review mentioned what a great job Steve did. So we took all of our unframed works and drove over to meet Steve. All I can add to what others have said is believe the hype! Steve knows his craft and had great suggestions on choices of matting, frames, and best colors to bring out the best of each piece of art. We hung them all with the hooks and sturdy wire hangers provided by Steve. So I suggest if you have art stored away in your closet collecting dust, take them to Steve at Framery One and get them on your walls where they belong and start enjoying them. Also, for the type and quality of workmanship the cost was very reasonable. We will not waste time checking around for any future artwork framing needs.

There's a lot here if you're willing to dig through! There's a vintage area with tons of old, vintage papers, photographs, sheet music, postcards, photo albums, negatives, etc. Loads of scrap fabric and remnants, yarn, embroidery floss, notions, scrap paper, scrapbooking materials, stickers, stencils, even industrial supplies like foam scraps, and household materials like pill bottles (empty of course), lids, jars, storage containers, craft kits, old calendars, big bins of wine corks, pens, etc. They have a HUGE selection of old National Geographic issues, some going back as far as the 1930s. Perfect for collages or collecting. They also have a few machines like scales, microscopes, sewing machines, etc. As well as a few tools, wood and metal working items, just bits and bobs of tons of things to sort through. It changes all the time so stop in regularly to see what they get in! And the best part? It's all SO cheap and keeps all these things out of landfills (56K lbs just last year)! Upcycling FTW! Some things are in better condition than others but if you're the creative type you will be inspired by all you can find here. And since things are so affordable you can really take risks and noodle around without worrying about wasting your supplies. Want more inspo? They came up with a creative way to prevent the book from sagging. In 2016: I found this to be a huge Joanns compared to the ones we have in my town, with a large selection of most items I looked at. I was, however, disappointed that I didn't find any fleece remnants that I liked well enough to buy. I also discovered an error on my receipt when I got home. I picked up a purple measuring tape specifically because I wanted something inexpensive and it was on a rack that was marked $1.99 each. When I checked my receipt later I was charged $2.49. I know that's only $0.50 but an error is an error and it canceled out part of the coupon that I used. On the good side, they had one skein in stock of a yarn that I haven't seen in stores for a couple of years so I was tickled pink to use my coupon to buy it. It had been a favorite of mine when I was living in Arizona and I was very disappointed to find that the Arizona and San Diego stores no longer carried it. I only had occasion to talk to one clerk and she did send me the right direction but I have to say in other stores they will usually walk you to the item you're looking for and not just wave their hand in the direction you need to go. I'm sure I will be back to this location while I'm in town because it is about the same distance from me as the one on Middlebelt Road, but with the advantage of being close to both Michael's and Hobby Lobby so that I can hit all three stores in one trip.

This older gentleman, (with the same tommy hilferger button up i own lol ) seen me at the frame service counter at roughly 4:30pm xmas eve, and this man was already buffing the floors when he seen my canvas on the counter and informed me there was nothing they could do.. i think he seen the heartbreak in my eyes and seen the portrait of my daughter that i been painting for 2 months, and told me what he could do giving the resources available. Mr. Andrew at linden rd location went above and beyond to make this happen for me, and wouldn't even accept the exorbitant tip i tried to give him for the holidays.. im super greatful for mr.
