Today, my wife and I limped in with a fifth wheel trailer and smoking axle wheel. I had some spare…read moreparts with me. Chris said repair appts were scheduling 2 weeks out! I asked if he would mind if we took the wheel apart on the street and we might need grease to use the spare parts I have with me. He said go right ahead. He checked on our progress and when we decided the Dexter brake assembly was the problem, he helped us find a new brake assembly nearby. We were so blessed by his expert assistance as we were traveling east from South Dakota to New Jersey. Such great help, the community of Tinley is blessed by his expertise.

Around 3pm, I called to see how the work was going, I was told they would call me back. Received a call back that the car was ready for pick-up. The window was fixed no parts needed just a bent regulator in the door panel. When we returned home, we noticed the door panel was NOT installed correctly (SLOPPY WORK) and the top of the window sill had a little grease on it I had to clean with a cloth. I called them back and to let them know the door panel was not installed correctly and would be back in the morning. We returned to Tinley Auto the next morning and the door panel was correctly installed in (10 minutes). On the way home, I stopped for fuel and pushed the gas button on the lower left driver's side door panel, the VW trunk opened. When I pushed the trunk button, the gas door popped opened. SOOOOOOOOOO, I had to call them "AGAIN" and mentioned the wiring wasn't hooked up correctly to the door panel. Drove back to Tinley Auto so they could correctly hook up the wiring to the gas and trunk buttons. I mentioned that they should knock off some money I paid for labor and this aggrivation. I haven't seen any discount for what I paid to get this LOUSY SERVICE! I WOULD NEVER USE TINLEY AUTO AGAIN AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, THEY DO SLOPPY WORK!

This is going to sound weird - but I am never going here again. It's not Visser CDE fault, it's…read moremore out of embarrassment than anything else. Long story short, never schedule auto body repair for an electric vehicle (or any car with a lot of sensors) within 2 weeks of going on a road trip. In terms of the actual work done, CDE did an awesome job with our car, a Mustang Mach E (electric). It had damage to the front bumper that required the front bumper to be replaced. We scheduled the work 2 weeks before my road trip. The work itself was flawless, car looks brand new. What really impressed me was the attention to detail, considering how reasonable their pricing was. They also cleaned the car by hand externally, but it looks like they cleaned up the car inside too. Unfortunately, they required a local Ford dealer to validate the sensors on the car were working after the repair. So, a week after we dropped it off at CDE (And the work was complete for the bumper), CDE then dropped it over at the Ford dealer. CDE made it clear that they cannot control the turn around time at the Ford dealer, but we (wrongly) assumed that it would only take a day or two. Myself and my wife started to freak out because we were not getting updates from the Ford dealership over the course of a week. At one point, the Ford dealer was telling us they did not even have our car! So, my wife and I become pesky, persistent and annoying with both the Ford dealer and with CDE. Thankfully, after a lot of back and forth and phone calls (literally 4 within a few hours at one point), we finally got our car... 1 hour before we would have had to had delay our road trip and potentially miss out on seeing some of our friends (and one of our best friend's parents is dying of cancer, so it meant a lot for us to make this trip happen). I really appreciated that everything got done beautifully, in the nick of time, but due to the amount of calls and annoyance that we created, I'd rather not show my face here again.. haha..

The staff was consistently friendly and professional, which is why I returned after someone hit my car three months ago. However, this experience was very different. Not only had they relocated, but the estimate I received was shockingly high. The representative even told me the quote wasn't final and that the cost could increase, which raised immediate concerns. I decided to get two additional estimates, and both were significantly lower CDE's quote was over $1,000 higher than the others. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed.
