My experience was fairly brief but satisfying (that's what she said). My husband and I were serviced within 20 minutes. This included consultation on framing and type of glass. The owner has a keen eye for what looks good. We had our own ideas in mind, but he made a few suggestions to enhance the matting colors and frame selection. We weren't the only customers in the store, but he was able to work with each group simultaneously, but not disruptively for either group. Not being in a rush, the estimated ready date of under three weeks from drop off sounded perfect. The frames was ready as scheduled. As others noted, the prices were market standard. Ultimately, my posters came out beautifully framed and I was able to support a local business. Picture perfect.

The most recent experience with Seven Arts deserves special recognition. An error in frame ordering delayed the arrival of the frame. However, upon learning of this, the group called me to explain what had happened and apologize for the error. They put a rush on the frame (at their expense) and the delay only ended up being 48 hours. When the project was completed, the owner learned that I was working all day and wouldn't be able to make it to the store to pick up the finished product, so he personally delivered it to me at work. I couldn't be happier with the work this group does and while I'm currently on a pause from purchasing anymore art work, any future pieces will definitely be framed at Seven Arts Framing.

I was told that receipts are handled electronically and that a phone number is required in order to receive the receipt. I was not expecting to have to provide my personal phone number simply to receive proof of purchase. This is especially concerning because their return policy requires proof of purchase. I think customers should be aware of this policy before making a purchase. If you prefer to receive a traditional receipt or do not want to provide your phone number at checkout, I recommend asking about their receipt options before completing your transaction. I'm sharing this so other customers can make an informed decision.

My original consultation was a fantastic experience, where I was guided through each decision of frame, mat, glass, etc with patience, expertise, and care. I left feeling like I made the perfect choices in consideration of my aesthetic, budget, and investment in this piece. It was considerably more money than if I had gone to IKEA but I also understood with the fine craftsmanship and expertise of the staff that the price was worth it. When I went to pick it up a few weeks later, it was exactly what I had hoped for. I was able to speak directly with the person who framed the work, who was different from my original consultation, and was thoroughly guided through their process. The piece looks beautiful and I would highly recommend this store for anyone looking to invest in personalized, beautifully crafted framing.
