Nikki showed up early in the day, as planned, and the process of having our makeup done was relaxing and fun. She listened to what we wanted and offered her professional advice. The results were spectacular! I've never felt more beautiful, which made me feel relaxed and confident on my Wedding Day. My daughter was absolutely stunning and told me that she thought she looked better than she did for her own wedding. I urge you to consider Nikki's professional makeup services when you want to look your very best for a special occasion. She was wonderful in every way!

I reached out to book my trial and didn't hear back for 2 months and only after reaching out more. I also didn't get a timeline until the day before including arrival times for the stylists. Then they texted me afternoon the day before my wedding asking me to pay in full (still no contract) and when I didn't see because I was at my rehearsal dinner they texted again saying I needed to pay promptly at 9am the day of my wedding. Luckily it all worked out but I was extremely anxious they were going to bail, especially because again I had absolutely nothing holding them to it besides a few texts. TL:DR- the stylists are awesome so I hope the company improve some of their administrative practices because as of now I would not recommend them to friends or family.

I am really disappointed with the professionalism of Pacific Artistry and Moda Organic Salon. I…read morereally wanted them to be as professional and as talented as their other clients describe them as. When I was ready to sign a contract to book both the trial run and the wedding day, they never got back to me with a contract. I contacted them twice about the contract and waited weeks between each email. I finally called the studio in an attempt to book the trial. The receptionist took my information and had the owner email me the booking site. The receptionist confirmed availability for my wedding date. I was disappointed when the trial was $50 more than what I was quoted on my original inquiry. When I checked into the salon, Moda Organic Salon - which is owned by the same person, I was greeted by chaos: loud music, kids running around, and no one at the receptionist desk. My appointment started 45 min late. My stylist, the owner, rushed through my hair styling and told me how busy she was. She even reported off that her daughter said, "I'm really good at swimming and you're really good at working." My hair style looked nothing like the pictures I provided. My bun didn't look full and the curls fell out of the bun after an hour of walking around. The airbrush makeup looked natural with the exception of blotchy areas on my cheeks, which she assured me it was from a gentle peel I did a few days before. Lacey had me email her all the details for my day of services and assured me that she'd send me a contract afterwards. I paid $250 for my trial, sent her all my details, and reached out multiple times about a contract. I never heard back from her. That's $250, about 2 hours in a salon, and 2 hours of commuting wasted over sub par service. Overall, the owner Pacific Artistry and Moda Organic Salon simply lacks the professionalism and communication skills any bride deserves. There are hundreds of wedding day styling artists out there and unfortunately some are unprofessional and some are scam artists... I really do feel like this company fits right in that category.

What I was finding just seemed way over priced and I was THIS CLOSE to doing my own hair. HOWEVER, I found Desert Glamour and they were awesome-sauce. Their prices were the best I found for the package I wanted. When I contacted Whitney inquiring about her services she was prompt and thorough. When I did the trial, I was really impressed and communicated exactly what I wanted to tweak - I felt comfortable to do so! Whitney also created a schedule to keep my bridesmaids on top of things and when I got to the house I was getting ready at, all my bridesmaids looked SO GREAT. They looked like themselves, but unique and formal hair and makeup - nothing too out of the ordinary or weird. Prompt, efficient, good hair, good makeup and nice prices. You're silly not to use Desert Glamour for your special day.

As a surprise for her 13th birthday, we hired Ryann to come to the house for a 2 hour "new teen makeup tutorial" for our daughter and her best friend, it was a HUGE hit! Ryann was funny and fun, and did two great looks on each of them, a casual, age appropriate look, and then went big glam for a fancy look. When life returns to normal, we will definitely be having her back to do something for dances and proms, or other big nights. Apparently she also does great hair styling as well, we're looking forward to trying that too. Also, we felt very comfortable, they have absolutely tip top excellent COVID protocols. Ryann was double-masked, wearing a face shield, had all new brushes, bleached everything as she went along, etc. Thanks Ryann and Sheilynn!

I was looking for a natural glam for my engagement shoot and that is exactly what Shyn delivered. Scrolling through the instagram photos you can see how diverse their clients are and how the makeup looks on each variety of skin tones. Being Asian, it was important to me to find someone who knew how to work with Asian hair and specifically do makeup on Asian eyes. If you are Asian, you know what I am talking about. Our natural hair sometimes struggles with curls and our eye lids and shape can be a struggle for a non experienced MUA. Being new to this process and having never gotten my makeup done before by someone other than a sales person at Sephora and this was a real treat. When you arrive, Shyn takes the time to make sure she has prepped your skin thoroughly before starting with the makeup. She even takes the time to create your own foundation concoction which will match your skin color perfectly. To me, flawless skin is a must for every bride and bride-to-be. I can already tell you that my skin looks soooo good in the sneak peak photos I received. I seriously wish she could do my make up every day. Not only is she great at makeup, she is bomb at hair! My one request was not to look like a mushroom head with my short hair. Something that a lady doing my hair earlier this year made me look like. I had a picture ready to show her just in case she needed it, which she did not, and got those soft perfect waves for my short hair that I had wanted.

My partner and I are both queer and Alex went out of her way to ensure we felt comfortable and safe during our each of our appointments (something that is always a worry of ours). It truly made a difference in our experience. We both received custom airbrush spray tans that turned out SOOO good. The final product was a natural, bronze glow! Alex also did my hair and makeup and she knocked it out of the park!! I shared inspo pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like and she did extensive research on how to achieve the look I wanted and she absolutely nailed it. The products she used for my makeup were high-quality and light on my skin. Despite being in full glam with false lashes, I still felt like myself! She also did light touch-ups on my partner to even out her skin tone, without making it obvious she was wearing any makeup (as she normally does not wear makeup). Alex truly goes above and beyond and I would recommend anyone use her services whether it be for an airbrush spray tan, event hair and makeup, or bridal hair and makeup.
