She's got a great eye for detail not only with makeup but with her hair styling as well. With my eyebrows, she used a combination of micro blading and tattooing because where I went before the micro blading didn't hold up great on my blonde brows. They're SO natural and bold enough at the same time giving my face definition. I am blonde on my brows, so I do tint them every 2 weeks to color the actual hair there, but even if I didn't it still looks so good. I met Tanya in High School and she used to do my hair and MU then for the fun of it between classes or lunch break. Many years later, life happened and I got engaged and was in the market for a hair stylist and a Makeup artist. There was a MU and hair guy I have been looking at for a while and long story short the Good Lord showed me in so many ways that I was making a mistake with an unprofessional individual (he won't be named) so after panic set in (1.5 month before the wedding) I settled with the idea of having to do my own MU (I know, horrific). But then I get a picture in my news feed on Facebook from a friend and WOW, I was blown away. I immediately messaged my friend and asked her who did her MU and she said "our old friend from high school Tanya". When I contacted Tanya (not to my surprise she was booked for both days that I needed her (our culture holds a 2 day wedding). She promised she would let me know if anything changed and lo and behold a miracle, she is available for both days just weeks before the Big Day. I sent her looks of what I was looking for and a few days before the wedding we had a trial for hair and MU. She did my MY exactly like the pictures I showed her, but I didn't look like a bride, I looked more like a vixen. I didn't look good with the white eyeliner I chose, and I told her I should've just asked her what her professional opinion was rather than demanding a look that might not suite my face. I told her to just toss the look and we'll just "wing-it" on the wedding day. She explained that its my big day and we can't "wing anything". So she booked me for another trial (free of charge mind you) the day before my wedding and this time I let her have artistic freedom based on what I was going for. I felt and looked AMAZING. Tanya, made me look like myself but more beautiful and she played up my eyes and lips. My hair was perfectly curled and and she explained what she was doing each step of the way! For Day 2 of my wedding I told her "I Want some sort of up-do, but the rest is up to you". Again, Tanya blew me away with her talents. My hair was soft and beautiful and did not move an inch with all the dancing and jumping and sweating I did. Above all let me tell you what I loved aside from her talents, her punctuality. for day 1 she arrived 5 minutes before our appointment and Day 2 she arrived 10 minutes before our appointment.
