But that isn't the real story- the owner's suggestions, knowledge of his inventory, and communication with me about my style and what is was comfortable in is what sets Zabian's apart. Everything was tailored in less than a week and I just tried everything on. Perfect fits. My wife loved everything and I felt great. I called ahead and they had everything I needed. I called back and asked to add soma few things to my order. The woman on the phone rudely said, "it's already packed." I was so stunned that I just hung up. Why not ask if I would like to start a second order? When walked in and told the woman behind the counter that I had an order, it immediately became clear from her voice that it was The same woman I spoke with on the phone. But she acted like I was someone new to her. I told her I had an order, and she acted as if it was the most preposterous thing anyone has ever said. She screwed her face up and said, lwhat are you talking about, for what?" I won't type out the whole in exchange, but she happily walked me out pointed at a few things and said, "they're right here! Where it says curbside pick up!" Meanwhile, my order was blocking the sign that said curbside pick up. She just really could've been a nicer human being. I asked the salesgirl if the other shoe was the one on display on the top of the rack. She couldn't answer, checked the shoe on top aimlessly, and continued to not be able to give me an answer. I found the second - and only other - pair of these shoes and tried them on to my satisfaction. I decided if I didn't find anything I liked better elsewhere, I'd buy these. Unfortunately (for them), I did find a pair I liked better elsewhere. It was difficult to schedule repair service with the store. They only service our area one day per week. When we finally received service the replacement ice maker did not function.
