But that isn't the real story- the owner's suggestions, knowledge of his inventory, and communication with me about my style and what is was comfortable in is what sets Zabian's apart. Everything was tailored in less than a week and I just tried everything on. Perfect fits. My wife loved everything and I felt great. When walked in and told the woman behind the counter that I had an order, it immediately became clear from her voice that it was The same woman I spoke with on the phone. But she acted like I was someone new to her. I told her I had an order, and she acted as if it was the most preposterous thing anyone has ever said. She screwed her face up and said, lwhat are you talking about, for what?" I won't type out the whole in exchange, but she happily walked me out pointed at a few things and said, "they're right here! Where it says curbside pick up!" Meanwhile, my order was blocking the sign that said curbside pick up. She just really could've been a nicer human being. Sometimes items are a bit overpriced for what they are, other times its a good deal so its hit or miss here. There always seems to be a super grouchy older lady working here. Every single time we come in, she's always there. Never smiles, always very short if you talk to her, and sometimes outright rude. For some odd reason, interacting with her has become part of the experience in coming here. "How much you wanna bet I can make here smile?". "No way!" So, in a weird way, we look forward to seeing her. It's much smaller than your standard goodwill but still worth a look if you're in the area and have time.

Two stores' salespersons didn't even look us in the eye and the third told us we had to wait indefinitely for her to be through with another customer until she could tell us what size we should look for in a US 12 for their European shoe selection. We came back "home" to Famous Footwear where we were immediately met with open arms by a lovely and very personable young sales woman. We bought more than we had expected to -- there was much more product than the other stores, plus I think just her demeanor made us want to buy after the dearth of customer service we experienced elsewhere. I wish I had gotten her name, because she is a gem, Famous Footwear. Thank you.

Sadly, that has changed and we can no longer support them. I don't feel they are trustworthy. Appliance service has been very disappointing at BEST. We were sold a product with a missing part and were told multiple times that the part would be supplied, but it never was and we had to continually chase them. The missing part that was never even supplied, actually damaged the brand new appliance. We were sold an appliance that never worked properly and it was admitted to us finally that it was a manufacturer's defect, but no compensation of any sort was ever even offered. So there's two appliances that we purchased at full price, that ended up being not being as functional as they were supposed to be. Most recently, we were encouraged to spend over $750 dollars on fixing an old appliance only to have it break once and for all 2 months later. We had specifically asked if it was worth spending all that money on this unit or whether we should just buy a new one and we were Definitively recommended to do the repair. Now I have had to buy a new replacement appliance at the cost of what I spent on the repair plus $100 - a mere $1665 out of my pocket that I didn't really have to flush down the proverbial toilet. Their response to learning that the repaired appliance died? 'We (conveniently) have a sale coming up next week. Nope. No more. Hello big box store. And in discussing this recent terrible experience with friends and neighbors, come to find out that they have also had very similar experiences. Literally the Same experiences - appliances purchased that were missing parts and were guaranteed that the parts would be supplied, but they never were, poor service, etc. I'm not happy to be writing this review but I feel obligated to save others the pain and suffering we've been through

Wait times are nil and you'll be out the door with your product quickly. I'll continue to stop in and would recommend this to anyone else in Western MA. A lot of the more negative reviews seem to be either 1) very old or 2) concerning the online ordering system, which I have never had an issue with in my visits.
