There was a sales person in every section who were attentive and willing to help if we needed it. Although the store is somewhat small and compact compared to other Sephora's we've been in, that's not an issue however as they seem to have a good stock of popular items. I thoroughly enjoyed the scent IQ system as the rep guided me into perfumes I would have never tried. I also observed one of the sales reps help a gentleman with cologne of which started a conversation, on which he praised her sales tactics. We will visit here again in the future the next time we come to Destin as we enjoyed this particular store.

I came in excited to look around and potentially make a purchase, but the customer service completely ruined the visit. I asked what I believed was a very normal and reasonable question about one of the products, and instead of receiving a helpful answer, the employee I spoke with immediately seemed irritated and annoyed that I had even asked. Her tone was rude and dismissive from the start, and she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her simply by trying to get information about something the store sells. As a customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask questions before making a purchase, especially in a specialty shop where people may not know every detail about the products. Rather than helping me understand what I was looking at, she responded with visible frustration and an attitude that made me feel unwelcome. What bothered me most was how unnecessary the interaction felt. I was polite throughout the conversation and wasn't demanding or difficult in any way. I simply wanted assistance, which is one of the basic expectations when visiting a retail store. Instead, I felt like I was being talked down to and treated as though my question was stupid or not worth answering. Customer service can make or break a business, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression. A surf shop should be a welcoming place where people of all experience levels feel comfortable asking questions and learning more about the sport and equipment. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and unlikely to return. I hope management takes customer interactions seriously and reminds employees that a little patience and respect go a long way. One rude interaction can easily drive away customers, and based on my experience, there is definitely room for improvement in how customers are treated here. It was a zen-like experience and if she had a soft chair I might have stayed all day... Not expecting to buy anything, I picked up a robe, a few Turkish towels and a cover up. I'm always given time to browse without being bothered, which makes me feel comfortable. This store has been clean and organized, any time I've stopped in. I've purchased several items that were perfect for little gifts for my neighbor and myself, and we have always been delighted to display the little yard items that I bought here.
