I said no thank you that I would take a regular bag. I was informed that "sorry, Disney is being 'green' and doesn't do plastic". Really? You were ready to sell me a plastic bag. So I asked if they had paper ones? Nope. They only have plastic ones to buy. So, we had to carry our purchases around the outlet mall...until we went to the Nike store. Nike store graciously offered us a shopping bag to carry our purchases. I personally can't stand when companies claim to be 'green', but it's all a show.

She has several customer's AND a demo to do and she handled it so well. I can pretty much browse and pick out what I need without help. However, there was girl there who had never tried MAC before....ugh! *They are always SO DUMB AND NEEDY. * But, the MUA gave everyone equal attention given the circumstances. But, the girl getting the demo was getting peeved. lol The customer service at the MAC Counter here in Panama city is the absolute WORST IN DEPARTMENT STORE HISTORY, (please see my previous review) I have to drive an hour out of my way to go to this counter. I came in excited to look around and potentially make a purchase, but the customer service completely ruined the visit. I asked what I believed was a very normal and reasonable question about one of the products, and instead of receiving a helpful answer, the employee I spoke with immediately seemed irritated and annoyed that I had even asked. Her tone was rude and dismissive from the start, and she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her simply by trying to get information about something the store sells. As a customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask questions before making a purchase, especially in a specialty shop where people may not know every detail about the products. Rather than helping me understand what I was looking at, she responded with visible frustration and an attitude that made me feel unwelcome. What bothered me most was how unnecessary the interaction felt. I was polite throughout the conversation and wasn't demanding or difficult in any way. I simply wanted assistance, which is one of the basic expectations when visiting a retail store. Instead, I felt like I was being talked down to and treated as though my question was stupid or not worth answering. Customer service can make or break a business, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression. A surf shop should be a welcoming place where people of all experience levels feel comfortable asking questions and learning more about the sport and equipment. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and unlikely to return. I hope management takes customer interactions seriously and reminds employees that a little patience and respect go a long way. One rude interaction can easily drive away customers, and based on my experience, there is definitely room for improvement in how customers are treated here.
