First off I found super fresh blackberries from Georgia. After being on the road for a few days, fresh fruit always helps. I also picked up some grass fed lean ground beef, some Cajun turkey breast, Sargento Swiss cheese and some fresh spinach. While in the bakery section, the freezer with Friendly's ice cream took me back to my childhood. Somehow I resisted and just snapped a few photos to share with my younger brother. We both loved Friendly's growing up in New England. Many shaves were almost empty in this store. I was happy to get what I needed and check out quickly. The people shipping here were friendly. I did a search for a 24 hour pharmacy and found there were none in Destin. As a last effort, I tried the Publix Pharmacy in Destin and Jennifer answered the phone & said they closed at 9pm. She had 10 minutes to fill 3 prescriptions & was so helpful,calm, and pleasant. I told her I would notify their driver right away. The family told me that Jennifer had everything ready and was waiting for them as they rushed in at the very last minute. I know Publix is a great grocery store with attentive & helpful staff and now I know these values are exhibited in their pharmacy staff as well!
