First off I found super fresh blackberries from Georgia. After being on the road for a few days, fresh fruit always helps. I also picked up some grass fed lean ground beef, some Cajun turkey breast, Sargento Swiss cheese and some fresh spinach. While in the bakery section, the freezer with Friendly's ice cream took me back to my childhood. Somehow I resisted and just snapped a few photos to share with my younger brother. We both loved Friendly's growing up in New England. Many shaves were almost empty in this store. I was happy to get what I needed and check out quickly. The people shipping here were friendly. We are visiting Florida from Texas for a month and did not expect it to be chilly here, had to go grab some cold weather gear that us Texans did not pack.. ooopsies! Husband and I stop at Marshall's... Don't get me wrong, I know I'm not at Nordstroms or Saks.. I don't expect assistance finding things not a glass of bubbles while I shop... I came to Marshalls for a reason... good high quality clothes and brands for a fraction of the price. Husband found a few long sleeves and of course didn't want to go over to the beauty area and try on... he just put them up to him and proceeded to the checkout.... only to get back to our rental condo and can't even fit his arm in two of them... one was good to go and he will be wearing that one over and over...about to get into why.. Those two small shirts went right back into the bag with receipt and tags still on... that's how I roll... I want a refund and respect and honor store policies and want to make everything eezy breezy for myself and the store workers. A few days later we are heading to Destin and I grab my Marshall's return bag with all the goodies and receipts.. Husband that refused to try on stayed comfy in his Jeep while I went in and did the dirty work... Get to the register and kindly say hello and start my return process.... That's when my day totally took a turn....I was asked repeatedly why I'm returning and what's wrong with them.... I stayed kind as a true southern girl who was raised right would... Remember I am a visitor to this state and the only other time I have stepped foot in this store was with my husband a few days prior... he paid with his credit card and he checked out... after thoroughly inspecting the clothes, tags and receipt, holding up the line way longer than she had to... she asked me if I wanted the return back on my card and I said yes please... she attempted to verify the last 4 numbers and then it hit me.. husband paid.. but our credit cards are on same account.. I called him immediately, he answered on first ring.. I told him to run in real quick because we paid on his card.. he was headed in... I looked back at the line I was holding up and smiled and said sorry.. the cashier said "OKAY, I'm going to do it this time on your card but this is the last time!" I was shocked at her aggression and what she was saying... "I recognize you! I NEVER forget a face!" Ma'am I live in another state and this is my second time ever in this store and I have never returned anything here and you weren't even the lady my husband checked out with. still polite and respectful on my part... She continued on with how she remembers me and this is the LAST TIME! She recognized me. I took my cap off hoping for her to realize she had the wrong person. But don't forget, my return had the tags, I had the original bag and the clothes had never been worn and I had the receipt and it had only been a few days. I was 100% in favor of a return! She insisted on refunding back to my card and warned me again IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS that this is my last time. Husband walks in with his card... Im walking out... the cashier is now talking about me to the next guest... I am so embarrassed at what just happened... my husband notices and asked me what just happened.. customers are walking out looking at me because they heard the ridiculing being done to me... I felt like I broke the law or got in trouble... Embarrassing!!!! I explained what happened to my husband and told him I just wanted to go.. of course he had to go back in and set the record straight... We will never return to this store.

Rude customer service. The staff that worked there in the afternoon of Labor Day, more…read morespecifically, a girl with glasses, a guy with somewhat curly hair, and even the security guard with the ugly man bun. Long story short, my mom tried using a card, it kept declining. So she bought a $400 purchase with a different card. When she figured out it was a fraudulent protection thing, she called the bank so that way she can return, then repurchase on the card she wanted to use. During that whole process, the cashiers were giving us looks and were getting inpatient. Then the security comes to check what's going on, and then they all start giggling as the guy is telling him what's going on, not knowing we can see their reactions. And when I say looks, I mean looks as in "they don't belong here" "why are the here". Looks as in they made us feel like we weren't rich enough to buy from here. We explained this was happening because we're not from here. Meaning we're TOURIST. Apparently they don't care, they were still rude and disrespectful. They're lucky my mom was unfazed and didn't see the situation. She didn't see, but her children saw. Will never come here again I'm going to Nike or Columbia.
