What also surprised us was we set aside a week with no destination. We didn't go further than 4 hours from home, staying in a different campground each night, exploring a variety of lakes, and places we NEVER would have learned about. The RV had everything we needed, giving us so much freedom. Jason was a joy to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable, which was so helpful being this was our first time using an RV. I found the Sprinter Van easy to drive. We were blown away by how good the gas mileage was as well. This is a great way to find all types of unexpected adventures, without even having to go far from home. We can not wait to do this again!

When my husband and I got there, the employee was super nice. He had the generator running because he wanted to show us all of the features of the RV, including "how cool the RV could get" during the hot weather. We told the employee that we would not need the generator, since we would be hooked up to electricity at our campsite. After going through the tour of the RV, we asked the employee whether or not we had to empty any tanks if we weren't planning on using the sink, shower, or toilet since we would have an bathroom/shower at the campground. He told us that we would not have to worry about emptying any tanks as long as we weren't using them. The employee also walked through what 'CLEAN' meant when returning the RV. He said that Josh, did a deep clean once a year and that as long as we swept and didn't leave trash, that it would not be a problem, because we were camping. We planned on bringing our dog, so we paid a pet deposit fee upfront. When we returned the RV, Josh accused us of not emptying the tanks, using the generator, and for excessive pet hair. He also said that he would be hiring a third party cleaning company because according to him it was too much to clean. He saw dollar signs when we paid a pet deposit. He refused to return our $1.5k security deposit AND charged us an additional $375 in fees that were not previously disclosed. However, we swept, vacuumed, and disinfected surfaces before returning the RV. After a few messages back and forth, Josh refused to explain any reasoning as to why we were going to be charged for using functions that we never used. We mentioned that we had reached out to a lawyer for guidance and he stated he would no longer speak with us, only to our lawyer. When our lawyer emailed him for more information about the charges, he didn't have the decency to respond to her either. This business is a scam. There is a quality control issue with their rentals that will cost you!

The Park was closed due to COVID. My wife called and asked for a refund, and they told her their policy was to only honor a credit to use at a future date. I called to book a new reservation and was told the credit was only good for one year, no exceptions. I asked if they would be willing to work with me on some sort of discount (like take $50 off as a Managers Special/Discount) for our upcoming trip, again was told no. I will rent from someone else.

Radio did not work when the vehicle went above 20 miles per hour. There was a small leak near a window that we could not have known about since it was not raining when we picked up. These are minor issues in comparison to our experience in getting our deposit back. They will not be getting repeat business.

I tried to purchase a camper here and ended up canceling the entire deal because of how the…read moretransaction was handled. I requested several upgrades, and everything we agreed on was listed on the purchase order. I specifically asked for the out-the-door price, was given that price, and put down a $1,000 deposit. A few days later, I completed the credit application and was approved. Shortly after the approval, the finance manager called and tried to sell me an additional $900 upholstery protection package. Why wasn't this brought up when I specifically asked for the out-the-door price? The timing, after I had agreed to the price, paid a deposit, submitted a credit application, and been approved, did not sit well with me. If you're going to offer an additional $900 product, tell the customer before they commit to the purchase, not afterward. I canceled the order. Unfortunately, getting my $1,000 deposit back became another problem. I spoke with three different people and still didn't receive my refund. I finally had to drive there in person to get my deposit back. The whole experience left me feeling that I couldn't trust the transaction. An out-the-door price should mean an out-the-door price. I won't do business this way.

They…read moredisconnected and reconnected some wires, pulled a fuse out and put it back in and said, "that should be fine." It WASN'T fine. We spent the next two weeks dealing with it. Food spoiling, altering our itinerary to hunt down parts and repairs, etc. They wouldn't do a darn thing. We found out from one of their other dealers that this particular model refrigerator has KNOWN issues and they just haven't taken the time to pull them all off the road and replace the. AND, the unit had the worst suspension and shock absorbers. Rattled and banged so loudly down the road we couldn't even speak to one another. Not to mention how worn down it was. Worst experience ever. We're about to seek legal help. $4000 for a two week rental and corporate says, "Here's a $100 gift certificate to rent with us again...." And, there are allegedly no supervisors to speak with in Customer Relations office, just three agents who offer no real compensation for issues like this. Um, no. Knowingly sending us out in a unit that isn't fully working is BREACH of CONTRACT. DO NOT RENT FROM CRUISE AMERICA!

We bought our current RV from Brambillas and they have been good to deal with for service. They do try to treat their customers well, in my opinion. We would buy from them again. And we have found that their service is superior to any RV shop we have used while on our trips. Service seems quite bad in the RV industry in general. I think Brambillas is one of the "good ones".

This is our first review…read more First thing to know is the rentals RV's are very low quality. You can tell once you spend a night in it. Ours, #34, was not properly sealed and you could see the outside through the walls when the side was extended. The muffler fell off while driving and it had a water leak inside soaking all our clothes. I fixed both these problems during the trip. Yet they still charged me a $300 late fee and $280 extra day charge! I was late, but because of these issues. They said I should have interrupted our vacation, called them, and had the RV serviced. I understand this, but I was able to temporarily repair the issues and continue with our family trip. I asked if they could compromise and split the difference in extra charges. The owners are entitled and think they are doing customers a favor. I went here because they are a local business, but their business practices is what is ruining American businesses. I'm a business owner myself and would be ashamed of customer service like theirs. NEVER RENT OR BUY AN RV FROM THEM!!!
