It was the first time we arrived home feeling rested and ready to get back to daily life. We didn't need a vacation from our vacation. What also surprised us was we set aside a week with no destination. We didn't go further than 4 hours from home, staying in a different campground each night, exploring a variety of lakes, and places we NEVER would have learned about. The RV had everything we needed, giving us so much freedom. Jason was a joy to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable, which was so helpful being this was our first time using an RV. I found the Sprinter Van easy to drive. We were blown away by how good the gas mileage was as well. This is a great way to find all types of unexpected adventures, without even having to go far from home. We can not wait to do this again!

After about three days of no call, I give them a call back. I am told they have ONE of the vehicles and are still working on getting the others. I let them know that it's fine, I was just calling to confirm my appointment. So five days later, I arrive, they tell me they do not have ANY of the vehicles i requested and that it was my fault for not confirming my appointment. Even though I have now called this company twice to confirm my appointment well in advance. Thanks for the waste of time.

Stayed September 11 & 12 2021 Beautiful RV Park. Loved how…read moreit was setup. Only con pull thru site pads are setup for 2 RV's hookups are in middle of each concrete pad. Each RV faces a different way. Small strips of grass between the next sites with 2 picnic tables & fire ring on each end. All roads are paved & park is very well manicured. The Mystic Lake casino sits above the RV park. We didn't go up to look @ it. Mystic Lake Casino had their last summer outdoor concert on 9/11. Kelsea Bellerinai opened for Jonas Brothers. Concert was across entrance road to Casino from RV park. It started @ 8 & ended @ 11pm. We could hear the whole concert.

We were looking for a low-key first camping experience for our kids, not too far from the Cities in…read morecase they really couldn't handle it. This fit the bill. The campsites were fine, some more separate and shady than others, but pretty standard and basically what I expected. Had no problem with the one we stayed at. The kids appreciated the playground tons. When we were there the lake was having an algae bloom, so we were disappointed not to be able to swim, but that wasn't something anyone could control. (Didn't love the trucked-in construction sand on the beach, though - I didn't even want to be down on the beach with that rough stuff!). The biggest issue we had was cars. We had 2, and had registered them when we reserved the campsite online. It wasn't until we arrived, though, that anyone said anything about having to pay a per-night fee to park them. You'd think this would be rolled into the cost for the site, charged when you register, or at least MENTIONED before you arrive. But no. So only when we checked in did we find out we were basically paying for another night of camping to just have our cars there. Our campsite only had enough gravel parking for one car, so we parked the other as close to it as we could and thought we were fine. Nope, the park hosts came by and told us we couldn't park the cars side-by-side. So we moved them to be front-to-back on our site, and the hosts said that was fine. The next morning a park worker came by and told us we couldn't park them THAT WAY, and that they didn't want cars possibly leaking on the grass. If they allow two cars per site (and make you pay for it) and don't want cars off the gravel, they need to gravel for two cars per site, otherwise change the parking allowances (and costs). This especially didn't make sense as we were in a loop that also allowed campers and trailers, which were definitely parked on the grass. Overall the campsite and amenities were fine, and this would be a four-star review if not for the inconsistent, misleading treatment of the cars you use to get to this campground.

Each room has a closet, fireplace, tv, dvd player, and bathroom. All doors lock with your room key for privacy and security. Every morning there is breakfast prepared; muffins and cinnamon rolls, english muffins, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, etc. It has a full kitchen. The lodge is off the river and only blocks from downtown. It allows everything (or a lot at least) to be within walking distance. I highly recommend this place for a place to stay. Much better than a hotel with a great amount of character. When you set up reservations make sure to ask about payment. It was cash only so clarify upon reservation.

The site to park our trailer in was smaller than anticipated and they just put fresh grass down and gravel down. It is obviously because of the flooding of that particular site. Our site was C 11. We were told by Manager Maya when we got there that only four spaces are available for daily/weekly rentals. If we knew that in advance, that would have told us so much more about this terrible place. We paid in advance for five days ($405.00!) expecting much better. The majority of the trailers there are permanent and rundown. They have obviously been there for a long while. Mud roads in/out allow you to get STUCK. VERY DISAPPOINTED. RUN AWAY FROM EVEN CONSIDERING THIS CAMPGROUND. Stillwater has a reputation as an upscale community and area. This "trailer park" is an absolute P.O.S. with mud/muck/dirt/unsightly areas and junk throughout the area.
