As we were in hail storm and severe thunderstorm warning no one called. It was pop up but no attempt to call us. So over $300 for an hour boat ride and then told to wait it out and he would give us an hour, even though rented for 3 hours and only out 1 hour. As I pointed out there was a forecast huge thunderstorm for later he highlighted "potential". Told that is your choice. No options for refund other than wait it out for another hour. Unfriendly and argument staff, totally bare bones boat, and no real options to reschedule during completely unsafe conditions (eg severe thunderstorm warning and forecast severe storms). Do not rent from these guys. Safety first not dollars. Many other options out there.

Bill runs a great place and all the folks who work there are helpful, courteous, and just really good people. Howard's is a full service marina with boat slips, storage, fuel, boat rentals (pontoon and fishing), snacks, ice, and bathrooms. Many times we find ourselves just hanging out in our slip, boat watching, grabbing a pizza from their pizza oven, enjoying a cocktail, and watching the beautiful sunset. We absolutely enjoy our summers here on the lake and feel very fortunate that we get to do that at Howard's. Cheers to many more years to come.

With the last tree firm cancelling at the last minute, I found Lakeshore. Jeff reviewed the situation, gave me a quote (very fair price) and completed the job sooner than I expected. They did an excellent job. It was amazing to watch them drop each cut limb with precision, avoiding other trees and our fence. I cannot recommend highly enough. I've purchased Porta Dock docks , Shoremaster lifts and many lake home toys and accessories from them. They are very competitive on price and in most cases, willing to flex a bit to gain a customer. I've had issues arise and inevitably they've gone out of their way to quickly get a replacement part that I lost /damaged and more recently help me fix my neighbors port a lift. As I've aged they steered me towards replacement dock steps that are adjustable and perfect. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Anyone who answers is always helpful. I highly recommend this company and suggest you include them in researching for your next marine purchase. I'm certain you will be glad you did.

Fantastic Customer Service…read more I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Bean's Greenwood Marina. From here on out, I will be a loyal customer. On Memorial Day weekend, my engine starter failed after filling up with gas at their dock. I was literally stuck there, with nothing I could do. It was the busiest day of the year for putting boats in the water, and instead of being frustrated with me for taking up space at their dock, Aaron, the manager, was very understanding and helpful. He helped me try to troubleshoot the problem. And when we couldn't isolate the issue, he volunteered to tow me back to my slip, which wasn't all that close. Keep in mind, they were very busy that day. And through the whole towing process, he was positive and kept reassuring me my boat would be up and running again in no time. When I tried to give him money for the tow, he politely said it was on the house, and he hoped I'd come back to them for gas in the future. What a total class act. Now I only go there, no matter the distance. Thanks to Aaron and the rest of the team that helped me that day...I appreciate you all!
