Had an issue with my insurance company and a scheduling conflict and told them I would call and schedule one it was resolved. Called in March to schedule a date and have been ignored for over a month. They only have one scheduler (Patrick) for all locations and could not even bother with a call back to schedule a time in the future despite multiple calls from me to the office. Hate to see this from a supposed reputable company. Also see on Google Reviews they are using their own employees to leave reviews.

All South put on a new roof in one day, cleaned up and picked up everything. Next, we had new windows and soffits installed. Next project was removing the cedar siding then hardie board installed. Last, the painters sealed all the joints and painted around the windows and painted the hardie board. Result was a brand new appearance for our 45+ year old home. So pleased with every aspect of the work that was done. All this was accomplished over a 10-11 day period, even working on a Saturday to stay on schedule. We've had one of those years where all the…read morebig expense items happen- car accidents, ER visits, car problems, and eventually septic issues. We weren't aware when we purchased our house that it was on septic (happens with an as-is purchase) and found out after doing a good bit of landscaping. We decided to leave the tank be until something happened and sure enough a few months later after some heavy rain we found the original concrete tank had started collapsing in on itself forming a small sinkhole (aka toddler death trap in my toddler's favorite place to play). In a tizzy we called multiple septic companies to get an idea of how long it would last before the whole system failed and to get quotes on replacing the tank and drain field. Sandhills were some of the first to come out that same day to look at it. Other companies couldn't come by for another day or two. From the start I appreciated their quick response to help calm nerves when other companies weren't as rushed to help. I did end up getting quotes from 3-4 other main companies around and ultimately we went with Sandhills for a few reasons but the biggest one was they were the only ones who were willing to work around our wild garden situation and try their best not to kill things. The other companies were a lot less willing to work with us on that and also were very pushy about doing things "their way", which just didn't allow for much as far as saving our plants went. The quote we got from Sandhills was a little higher than the other companies but we chose them for their willingness to work around plants and their professionalism. They weren't able to fit us in for about 3 weeks, which stressed me out with a septic tank on the fritz and company visiting us and a toddler all while being pregnant, but thankfully the tank lasted and we didn't have to resort to another company. I do think they'd have done their best to move us up if the system totally failed but they are also busy so it just worked out in the end and I'm thankful for that. Rodney and Deshon were very nice and worked hard during the two days it took to replace the septic tank and redo all the drain field, and also demolish the old tank so it wouldn't be a sinkhole anymore. He even had his son out working (summer job I guess!) which sped things up. A few things were unexpected for them like a lot of groundwater filling the hole before placing the tank but my toddler and I were out there watching a lot of the work (excavators are pretty cool, and I'm a soil scientist who loves to see some redox features) and at no point did I hear any complaining about that delaying them or the heat or anything. I've worked manual labor jobs before and am prone to complaining about things like that so I noticed and appreciated that. They also didn't up the final cost due to those delays and I thought that was a possibility; given our year I'm thankful they didn't! Overall I can't recommend them enough and am very glad the stars aligned for us to hire them. Nearly all plants survived the chaos and I am finally not stressed out about our septic tank.

Side note (I'm not fat shaming or old shaming!!!! But a much MUCH larger much older gentleman has no business going up a ladder into my attic that has no support and he could barely breath. And didn't even make it up there). he comes in my door with at least an 8 foot ladder and says "I'll do my best not to mess up the walls". I laughed a bit and said "please and Thankyou. We just had them all painted." SIKE! At least 10 spots on my wall that the paint is chipped off, dented, or scuffed. He didn't not even apologize or acknowledge that he messed them up AT ALL. I brushed it off because when I lose it I LOSE IT! Took a deep breath and trucked on. I was telling him about another company that came out and quoted me and he proceeded to tell me he couldn't come near that price but their company was better. That's fine. Everyone thinks they are the best. That's business. Understandable. He kept going and I kept my mouth shut about the walls for as long as I could. He goes outside to look at the roof and said he had to meet up with a coworker later and he would give me a call. At this point I want him gone now! So I was very short but remained polite and told him to have a good day. I'll be in touch. So I go inside and go about my day. I'm sitting on my couch and here he goes walking by my window measuring my house. Then I lost it. I opened my door and said I don't want your business please leave! He laughed. I slammed the door. 3 minutes later he calls me. I answered and hung up and told him to leave my property now or I would make him come inside and fix my walls (I have paint). He finally left and I called my mother and explained everything. She was even more mad then me so she called the company. She said they were very apologetic and would fix the damage. She told me that they would call me ina few minutes and ask some questions etc. THEY NEVER CALLED . SO.... if you want more damage done to your house then what you called them to fix by all means call them. If not Young's roofing or Crosby is a safe bet. Didn't have any issues with their quote at all. Sorry for all the grammatical errors and what not. I'm upset. We just got our dream home with some minor fixes needed. And now we have more. YAY UPDATE: my husband decided to call them after they didn't return our call as promised. He stated that if I wanted them to come out and fix the damage, I started out on the wrong foot by writing this review.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I STARTED OUT ON THE WRONG FOOT?!?! So we hung up. Words can not describe my emotions right now. UPDATE #2. They called back. They want to resolve the issue. Great. That's awesome. But he kept mentioning this review and how he didn't want it here. So do they want it fixed for us? Or fixed for their reputation? Who knows??? Well on the phone my husband was asked "if we fix the damage will you consider changing/removing this review" THERES YOUR ANSWER........ we will be fixing it ourselves. It's not like it's an expensive or hard fix. No need to hire the original painters to come fix it. It can be fixed with paint and spackle. But that's besides the point. It's the integrity behind it or lack there of. So to the workers reading this. Don't bother calling us again... we don't want your business or your damage control. Here's my final review. And here it shall stay. My recommendation is work on your choice of wording when speaking to a customer, especially in a instance like this. OMG WHAT A BLESSING! CALL SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOUR NEEDS. I CANT ADVERTISE THE BUSINESS HERE OR THEY CAN REPORT THE REVIEW. THEY CAME OUT ALREADY. SAME DAY. AND TEMPORARILY FIXED THE LEAKING PIPE BOOT UNTIL IT DRIES AND CAN BE FULLY FIXED/REPLACED.
