From the outside it doesn't look like much but we were surprised that when we went in to check it out, we found that they actually have a small dining room with tables and chairs. There is a counter where you enter your order and sandwiches pay for your food. The menu is surprisingly extensive. They have both hot and cold sandwiches along with some hot entrées . I had a cold pastrami sandwich and it was very good. I liked it better than most supermarket sandwich counters and better than Subway sandwiches. My wife had a cup of Vegetable Barley Soup and Onion Rings. All in all, it was pretty good. It was far better than we expected. This is a good lesson where we should not judge a book by its cover.

It's got some 49ers vibes going on, so you've been warned (or welcomed, depending on your team colors). This is an old-school bar - started in the late 1800s - but it's packed with life.
