Year after year, Mrs. Q and I would contemplate going, and after hearing the experience of others who have gone, we decided that the timing was right, so we finally went earlier this year on yet another sold out trip with 46 other members of our church. This all-inclusive trip included air, room, transportation, meals, and entrance to all of the holy sites in our itinerary. The only thing that we paid for on our own was food/snacks on our free time, some of the drinks at a few of our meals, souvenirs, and the robes we used for baptismal. Any follower of Christ should definitely consider this trip. I've included pictures of our itinerary, and depending on your guide, there may be additional visits to places not on the itinerary, time permitting. In this case, Just Ride Waterworks of Dallas has earned an honest review. The first incident occurred when we showed up at the dock for our scheduled ride. After waiting 15 minutes, we received a call informing us that the boat was being cleaned and they'd be right over. Shortly after, they called again to say the boat wasn't working and we'd need to reschedule. We were disappointed, but we understood--things happen. We salvaged the night and appreciated that they offered to make it right by rescheduling. Unfortunately, the second attempt--meant to be a redo--was even worse. We arrived at the dock again, only to find no boat in sight. We called and were told to wait 15 minutes. Over the next hour and 45 minutes, we followed up multiple times and were given excuse after excuse: the boat just finished maintenance, they were on their way, etc. In the end, what should have been a two-hour boat ride turned into two hours of waiting for a boat that never showed up. To make matters worse, their explanation was that this "never happens" and they "never have issues with their boats"--conveniently forgetting that this was already a rescheduled ride from a previous failure. A helpful gentleman at the dock store even mentioned that the boat frequently breaks down, which aligned with our experience. After this second no-show, I posted a review on their Instagram account, only to discover the next day that it had been deleted--and I was blocked. This raises a serious concern: how many other negative reviews have been silenced in the same way? Their online presence only shows glowing reviews, but based on my own experience, that's not the full picture. Bottom line: Do not use this company. There are plenty of other reputable boat rental businesses in Dallas. Unfortunately, Just Ride Waterworks is not one of them.

Specifically requesting a Tri-toon. ​We showed up on the saturday we booked for and they said they had us on a ski boat. I told them no so they gave us a boat. This boat had many broken areas and was infested with ants and roaches! We found some on the dock which they provided glass cleaner to us to spray the bugs....OK. when we got out on the water and went to get the life jackets that compartment was infested with roaches. The engine was leaking gas so there was a distinct gas smell the whole time. And a fish smell. Which we chalked up to being at the lake. When we pulled back up and started unloading g our stuff we found a full trash bag in a compartment under the front seats that had fish guts in it among other trash. They did comp my gas at the end. Which was only a quarter of a tank. They clearly gave us the spare boat or something since they got the reservation wrong. We made the most of it but that is ridiculous. We were also one of the first groups there and the only group with a full day rental. Wont rent here again unless they give me a day free. Be careful. Dont accept the red boat. Yall do better. ​
