We really enjoyed our food. Everything was tasty. The brussels sprouts were the bomb with bacon and crispiness just perfect. The chicken wings were fried a bit expensive but they allowed us to have several kinds of sauces for dipping, which was awesome. The pan seared chicken was delicious perfectly cooked and the vegetables were good as well. Service was good even though they were packed with a crazy amount of people in the bar area. I don't know that I would ever come here for a date. It's insanely noisy like beyond belief and noisy, but everybody seems to be having a good time and enjoying their food and drink so I would definitely come back and I will come back this week.

Popped in for a late night dinner. From the front door you can't tell that this place has a restaurant- it looks like a bar only. The staff were friendly and took the time to explain their specials and best selling dishes. The ambiance gives local vibes, which I loved. When you walk in the front is the bar, it's long and has some high tops along the wall and plenty of seating at the bar. Once you pass the bar, you'll enter the restaurant part. There is plenty of tables and the restaurant can accommodate large parties. Now let's get to the food! We ordered the carnitas tacos and the seared yellowtail and noodles. Both were in the daily specials menu. We also ordered the buffalo cauliflower which was served with blue cheese dressing and a cup of tomato bisque. The food was tasty and fresh. The carnitas were moist and crispy but were bland-- they needed salt, thank goodness for the salt shaker! The yellowtail was delicious . The noodles were a tad over sauced, however they complemented the fish well. The tomato bisque was the best thing. It was so yummy and creamy, and little chunks of tomato. It was served either two crostinis which were lightly buttered and toasted. Overall, this place is good for a quick bite. Enjoy!

Was here for the company Christmas party two weeks ago. Love the ambiance. Staff were excellent. Food was good! We had sliders, meatballs. Shrimp (I did not have this), general taos chicken, salad, and open bar.

Good bar food on a wkd. We tried the burger and cob salad. Plenty of TV screens with games on. Enjoy!!

Came here for a community event after not being here for several years. Attractive inside with cool lights, clean, sleek but also that low-key bar feel. Food was very good especially the mozzarella sticks (perfect cheese pull) and crisp). Good cider and drink options. Good service. Loved that the train times on LcD screens when you first walk in!

Got seated very quickly. Walk past a nice bar pretty busy to a back area for seating which was fairly quiet but then again I was early. Drinks were well priced and good. Service was extremely fast. Portions were OK not overly generous but not too small. Food was fresh hot and came out pretty fast. I was impressed.

Solid spot for after work drinks and bites. Decent prices and good people, and the two appetizers I bought were pretty good. Great Irish pub-style atmosphere.

Hidden gem! Went in about noon on a Monday for lunch. Very attentive service, menu had wide variety of options. I got the shrimp tacos which were generously stuffed (was only able to eat 2). Squeaky clean from top to bottom including bathroom. This will be put on our list of places to return.

Nachos $15 and Chicken Tenders with honey mustard and ketchup...2 appetizers served on same tray, I guess because we were sharing?

It definitely has the vibe of a speakeasy, especially with the jazz band playing. We went with the brunch special which is $35 for bottomless drinks with the purchase of an entree. It pays off if you're having more than 2 drinks and we made sure we did! Bloody Mary's were excellent! The food here was outstanding. I had the 3 Eggs Any Style and my wife had the Breakfast Flatbread. Those dishes as well as our friends were well made and delicious. We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. Couldn't pay me to return.

Warm lighting, good energy, and a chill crowd make it an easy place to hang whether you're starting your night or winding it down. One of the best parts is the menu. It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. The Grizzly Pear is close to so many things, making it a great stop before or after exploring the neighborhood, catching up with friends, or heading to another spot nearby. The service really stood out too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Grizzly Pear is a great go-to if you want good food, decent drinks, a cool atmosphere, and fair prices all in one spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to again.

This was not a credit card fee (that I can understand). It is a "transaction fee" that is applied to all invoices. Are you kidding me! I have no trouble paying a an extra dollar for a burger. They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
