Excellent electrician and wall patching team! I would recommend this team to anyone. Responsive and gets the job done.

Jason is a class act and true professional. I'd been having issues with power outlets in my garage, and he came by to help diagnose. He took the time to both explain and show me the issues -- and it was clear he dug beyond the surface (and a quick fix) to find a root cause that, if not identified, could've very well led to a fire. He was able to fix it right on the spot at a reasonable price, and took the time to look into and explain in detail answers to questions I had with other projects I'd been considering around the house. He had a no pressure approach to discussing the options, even explaining at points that some projects -- after investing time to look into things -- wouldn't be necessary, saving me quite a bit. It showed strong integrity. He now is my go-to for any future projects. read more

Incredible on all levels: 1) One of the best prices of all that I vetted. Some gave ridiculous prices estimates, but FM's was one a few that were more reasonable. 2) HONEST - a) The wrong shower board was given to them by Lowes or Home Depot... I heard them talk and instead of using the wrong board, they were emphatic about getting the right one. b) I had cameras in rooms to make sure they didn't go into them, and they never did. Super honest and hard working. 3) CLEAN a) They covered the floors and walls during demo, and post-demo, kept all the cardboard like material on the floors to protect them through the job. b) They had one guy vacuum dust from tile and wood cutting and drywall cutting to ensure everything was clean. 4) WORKMANSHIP a) Checked my plumbing before installing the new bathtub and found a giant hole in my cast iron pipes. They did not "have" to inspect lines nearby but did as part of the job. Save me a fortune in future damage that would have happened had they not looked. b) The tiling and installation was INCREDIBLE. Everything was perfect... everything was level. Everything was done on an excellent timeline. 5) RESPONSIVENESS - I contacted Jason a bunch, even on weekends, and he was ALWAYS friendly and accommodating to my requests. Super patient, honest, fair, and ethical. I would only go with FM Maintenance for price, quality, honest, and cleanliness. read more

We hired Jason (FM Maintenance) to help rebuild our unit, (paint, flooring, cabinets, etc.) I just wanted to express our complete satisfaction with his professionalism, communication, and the workmanship of his crew. He was able to complete all the repairs in a timely manner, even the extra requests I made didn't slow the speed of the project. While it's unfortunate the recent, costly kitchen update we had completed by another contractor in November was destroyed by a slab leak, having Jason complete the work made it less "painful". He left our unit clean and neat. His prices are fair. read more

Jason and their crew did awesome job at my place with the restoration work. Their customer service is amazing, they were so kind to come back finish the project with detailed work and I was amazed by it. If I need to find a restoration guy I would highly recommend this team. They listen, they do work very nicely with high quality. Thank you again! read more

Jason was so helpful and communicative in the process of having our bathroom redone from a leaky pipe from our upstairs neighbors shower. His guys went to work right after Thanksgiving and got the majority of the work done right before Christmas. They did a fantastic job with great attention to detail and giving us advise on some changes we needed to make due to physical constraints. We're so thrilled with the results! We will happily recommend them to anyone needing a remodel. read more

Fox Renovations - Walk-in shower - Handyman Near Me

Honest. Reasonable. Reliable. Three words seldom used to describe contractors but in the case with Jason and his crew, the description aptly fits their services. I have used them on four different occasions already for two different properties, and in each instance, they did not disappoint. I seldom write reviews but this one is well deserved. 1. Craftsmanship. Their work is great. What seals the deal on the quality of their work is their willingness to retouch whatever you may not be satisfied with. They stand by the guarantee of customer satisfaction. 2. Communication. Jason is very quick to reply and he keeps his appointments! He is punctual and accessible. 3. Pricing. I first found FM maintenance on yelp after I had water damage. I interviewed several contractors and Jason provided the most reasonable quote so I decided to give him a shot. Since his first job, I have interviewed other contractors for different jobs like painting (I like to do my research) and his quote has always come out to be one of the more reasonable ones. The only downside to writing this review is that others may find him and Jason and his crew will become less available:P But they absolutely deserve the business. read more

Jason was very communicative to myself and my husband about our needs. The gentleman who came to out house was Efram (sorry if I misspelled) and was very professional and fixed what we needed in a timely manner. We have used this company many times and they are always on time as well. Will continue to keep using this company should the need arise! read more

Jason was quick to respond to my text when I had an issue with my garbage disposal and toilet. He literally showed up the next day and fixed the issue for under his initial estimate. I'd hire him anytime. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of Jason and his team! From the moment I met him I could tell he was an honest and knowledgeable person. His prices are reasonable particularly considering the great service provided and he does not leave any stone unturned. We had an asbestos abatement (popcorn ceilings) in advance of the work done by FM maintenance and they came in to dry wall, paint, install can lights, install LVP flooring and trim, completely redo one bathroom and largely redo another. We continued to add to the original scope throughout the project and Jason took all of our requests in stride and moved mountains to fit in all of our requests extremely quickly. Everything from start to finish took about 4 weeks which is wildly impressive considering the scale. During the renovation, my husband broke his back in an accident and I was 5 months pregnant and Jason did everything he could to limit any additional stress on us. His team went the extra mile and moved our beds for us, installed extra fixtures/hardware for us, and had our home professionally cleaned so we could get settled as quickly as possible. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention how responsive Jason is. He replies very quickly via text and phone, even in the evenings and on the weekends. His communication is clear and always helpful. I will be calling Jason first for any future home projects and I highly highly recommend him (and already have to various friends!). Look no further for a contractor for your home project!! read more

I wish I could give the company 10 stars. The owner Jason returned my call within minutes. During the call, I texted him a few pics of what needed to be done and from those, he was able to quote the project, which I accepted. Jason scheduled Efrain and Alex within 2 days to start the project. Stellar guys. During the project, the other owner, Charles came out to check on the guys and make sure things were going smoothly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who's looking for quality electrical work at reasonable pricing. Jason and his team of handymen are definitely my go to guys when something is needed around the house. We recently needed some repairs and a remodel on our bathroom and Jason was quick to help. They've helped me with all sorts of repairs and things I needed done around the house. I love that he works with my budget so that I can get the services that I need and not break the bank. If you need someone reliable, trustworthy, and someone who does a great job for an honest price, look no further than FM Maintenance. I've already referred a few friends and family members who are also impressed by his professionalism and quality of his work. read more

I wish I could rate higher. We were left with a mess by a prior painting company we had hired that over promised, then did poor work. Jason and his crew came to our rescue, fitting us in when they could, which we completely understood and had absolutely no problem with. They fixed all the problems the prior company left us with, and more for us to help us get our home ready to sell. Plus very reasonable rates. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. read more

We worked with Jason to fix the drywall in our ceiling after a leak. He came out with a foreman to inspect and give an estimate. During the job, the foreman came out with two other guys who did the actual work. Considering all the people involved, FM may be more than the just-a-guy-with-a-ladder handyman (I can't say for sure since I didn't actually get another quote). But ultimately, I'm glad we went with them. They arrived on time, finished on time, and did an excellent job. I can't even tell where the old drywall ends and the new starts. Most importantly, they went to great lengths to protect my home and leave it clean. They created a plastic bubble for their work. When they left there was no dust or anything any where. Considering, we have small children this was very important. I'd easily use them again. read more

Ok, these guys are the bomb! My toilet has been slowly dying and just when I have guests it finally went down for the count. The timing couldn't be worse, and I reached out to multiple plumbers with no luck. Then I shoot a text to to FM Maintenance. Not only did he respond quickly, he was able to give me a very fair quote over the phone. His guys picked up the exact model I requested from Home Depot, and had it installed within 5 hours of my first contact text. I couldn't be more thrilled! Oh, and he gave me a service call window and they arrived right on time! read more

These guys were fantastic. Came on very short notice for a small job, which we all know is the most difficult to find good handyman for. Very professional, on time, very reasonably priced, what more could you ask for? read more

Jason is such an honest guy. He did what he had promised and more. His work was fast and his price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend Jason for all your Maintainance needs. May read more

Jason is my nominee for Contractor of the Year. We had water damage-- not an emergency, but definitely cause for serious concern -- after the recent rains, and after looking at Yelp Reviews, we decided to go with FM Maintenance. I texted Jason, he said he was booked up six weeks in advance, but because he was working on a job in the neighborhood, he came over and spent more than half an hour. Because the van he was using didn't have a sufficiently long ladder he was unable to do as thorough an examination as he wanted to do, but he was pretty sure he knew where the leak was located. This was confirmed the next day when a subcontractor he recommended found the source of the leak where Jason said it probably was. Jason recommended several subcontractors for the problems we had, and every one we've used has been first-rate. Contractors are under a lot of pressure due to the recent storms, but using Jason's name has gotten them to come almost immediately. We realize in recommending him so highly that we run the risk that the next time we need him, he'll still be booked up six weeks in advance -- but in an era where people try to get by with shoddy work and overpriced work at that, Jason is a rare exception. We're recommending him with the greatest of enthusiasm to all our friends. read more

We just moved into a house and had several things either go wrong or just had to be taken care of. Jason and his team at FM Maintenance are great! We've had them repair our exterior shower, replace staircase railings and steps, patch walls, adjust doors, replace light fixtures, install drawers and chimney guards and repair water heater hose. Jason and his team are consistently responsive, knowledgeable, conscientious and always deliver on their word. I was especially impressed with their honesty. In a couple of instances, other folks would "recommend" a service/product that was several hundreds of dollars and the guys at FM Maintenance would give us the straight answer. So refreshing to hear the truth and save some money! We will definitely be using Jason and FM Maintenance for many of our home projects! read more

FM saved the day. Installed our microhood within 18 hours of my first phone call. Arrived early, worked fast, were friendly, and cost $50 less than any other installer I found. Jason communicated well with me - texts and phone calls very quickly returned. We will undoubtedly use them again. Wish we had found them sooner! read more

We worked with Jason and his team when we had a leak in our main water line that caused us to rip out our drywall to repair it. He was excellent. He responded to our questions in a timely manner, and he also helped us catch an additional leak. He also addressed all our concerns about finishing the job as quickly as possible. Within a week, he was able to fix our second leak, replace our drywall and paint the wall. He was busy with other projects, but he made it point to check-in on us daily. He also brought in fans to make sure the leak was completely dry, and at our request... sprayed our interior walls with anti-mold treatment. He never tried to up-sell us anything, and we thought his final price was very reasonable for the quality of work provided. We wouldn't hesitate to work with him and his team again and highly recommend him for any repair. read more

I was working on a property in manhattan beach pressure washing my clients sun deck. the deck was rugged and i knew it needed repair, i just didn't know i was going to need it during the work i was doing. i yelped a few people in the area and no one was willing to come out immediately. i spoke to Jason and told him my situation. luckily he was available and came out. The deck was repaired and the clients were happy. thanks Jason for saving the situation. read more

Charles is THE man! I am extremely picky about things, and expect them to be done right the first time. Charles not only meets, but exceeds my overly high expectations in all phases, so much so that I allow him free reign to my place, but I often am here, as I like watching his approach! From prep, where he ensures all is covered/secure as not to make a mess, to being thorough in his abilities with all of the necessary tools, and taking his time to ensure that he is doing the right thing, and even leaving the place better than he found it. Simply put, there is NO DOUBT, he is your guy. Seriously, look no farther. I actually thought about being selfish, and not sharing, but, after all, sharing is indeed caring! read more

I was very pleased with the services and communication with FM Maintenance regarding my need for an electrician. Quickly responded and job done. Will use again. Thank you Francisco for ur knowledge and solving our problem. Also to mention Francisco called attention to smelling gas while in the attic. I called Gas co and they came out. Small leak in tubing was found. Repair made and gas co came back out to check if done and repair made. Gas turned back on. Thank u Francisco for telling us u noticed gas smell before this could have turned out to be a disaster. read more

Jason remodeled my restroom. He was really cool and patient. Went above and beyond my expectations! I highly recommend this dude!

first of all...he responded within a day of the request. Was there when he said he would be. Fine job! He thinks of the little things most people blow off these days...including clean up. This was a simple hand rail installation. He did no fuss, no muss. And he charged less than originally quoted. I'm going to have him tile my kitchen next..... read more

I was referred to FM maintenance years ago. This was a gift! Jason can work with a vision and facilitate it, his team of professionals keep high standards and execute the guidelines provided by Jason. FM has remodeled a 1979 (carpeted) bathroom, with tile & a beautiful vanity that I had upcycled from a chest of draws- they worked with me to make sure it worked how I wanted it! Now FM Maintenance has remodeled my master bedroom- I have 2 more rooms after this is finished. I have will continue to work with FM Maintenance. Thank you for always working with me & getting my vision to reality!!! read more

We recently purchased a condo that needed major upgrading. Jason and his crew at FM Maintenance did a great job and the place now looks fantastic. They did everything we needed from electrical repairs and lighting installations, plumbing repairs, removing a huge floor to ceiling mirror along with a ton of wallpaper, installed our appliances, tiled the floors, and put in a granite counter top. His painting crew did a great job tacking an 18 ft wall that I can't imaging having to do myself. He even found a source to make custom closet doors for us that I loved in a magazine. No job seemed too big or too small for Jason and the crew. Jason is very knowledgeable on all the current codes (he pointed out things our home inspector missed) and his crew are all experts in their field. They are our go-to now when we have additional projects. read more

Jason, Charles and their team are truly the best of the best. There is nothing that they can't do! They are trustworthy, honest, hard working, responsive. I can't say enough about these guys. They are my "go to" for any sort of home improvement/maintenance. The best in the biz! read more

Jason and his team are the best handyman service we have ever had. Consistently reliable, responsive, and conscientious. Quality of work? Timeliness of repair? Ontrack with budget? With so many question marks then why 5 stars? I needed a small repair done in my shower/tub. I had already gotten an estimate from someone else who had admitted the shower wasn't built in the best manner and that his repair would be more like a bandaid. I then went to Yelp and found FM Maintenance. Minutes after leaving a message, Jason called me back. He was friendly, helpful and descriptive. Even though it was a smaller job he seemed eager to help. However when more information came about the project, he realized the shower probably wasn't built to code and the repair I was asking for would be out of compliance and wouldn't be the best way to fix the issue, so he politely declined the job with his reasoning. For declining to do the wrong thing, FM Maintenance has earned 5 stars. It seems FM Maintenance wants to be proud of each job they attach their name to and they only do what is right, even if it costs them an easy job and easy money. I'm in the process of looking for a house to buy and I can assure you, when I need any repairs or upgrades, FM Maintenance will be my first call. read more

Jason and Charles have done a terrific job for us at two different properties. We found them through a property management company for a house we were getting ready to rent out. It was an old house with a LOT of maintenance issues and they did a great job coming through and making all kinds of repairs to walls (painting, too), doors, electrical, etc. They were quick, thorough, and did a great job. They then helped us get things ready at our new house with a variety of repairs, installing lights and cabinets, fixing broken doors, installing hardware, etc. Again, I was very pleased with how quickly they worked and the quality of their work. We have used many different handyman services over the years, and they are by far the best. They are very knowledgeable, reliable, skillful, professional, and fairly priced. I highly recommend them. read more
