I was not only gravitated to Crossroads by the location, landscape, and amenities but, because of the leasing agent Jamie. Jamie was so warm, welcoming, and listened to my every want and concerns. After being a tenant for over a year, I had an issue with my new neighbor. I felt so comfortable to go in and express my concerns and frustrations to Jamie. She was understanding took everything I said into consideration and handled the problem within that same day. Haven't had an issue since. The ladies in the office are what make Crossroads, the place you want to live. I met Lynn the day I moved in and did the inspection and she again was wonderful. They go out of their way to make sure you feel at home and take the time to get to know you personally. Not many places know a majority of their residents by name and their family household. I appreciate all they do. Thank you, ladies for making my stay here a breeze. :)

Lynn in the office is great at communication and staying on top of everything and Roberto with maintenance always does an amazing job. Although I wish the gate was fully around the community for better protection, I enjoy living in the complex. It is always well maintained even with fur babies around. And I LOVE using the outside grills and pool area!

I've been living here since June 2025 and just transferred from a 1bd. 1 ba. to a 2bd. 2 ba. with…read moremy sister this week. I have loved living here which is why I chose to stay in the complex. It's safe, I get very quick response time with the leasing office and with maintenance and that is so important to me. I love the amenities (the pools, gym, A/C, in-unit laundry were a must have for me) and it's very well maintained and peaceful here. Also, they are so pet-friendly here which was another huge thing for me. During this transfer process, Jonathan helped us with everything which is really my first time meeting him since I had a different leasing agent last year and he made this process SO smooth. Not only did he answer all of our questions, but he was super quick, informative, and very professional.

Things got so out of hand that we had to call the police on him, and after several attempts to get in touch with the leasing management, they only decided to do something once the cops were involved and a report was made. To this day, our neighbors downstairs blasts his music with bass - the walls and floors tremble and I'm convinced the downstairs neighbor does this purposely after complaining about hearing footsteps from our unit above him. The complex doesn't feel safe. There's never any parking for visitors. The pool can be cleaner especially during the summer - maybe some weekend cleaning can be added? The management team took months to address our renters insurance issue and even started charging us because they didn't process it on their end. Poor management. The staff needs to be kept in the loop about what's going on. Our car has been egged,. A report was made and no update followed. In order to get anything done, we have to walk into the leasing office otherwise you can expect no updates from the team. Recently, a car blew up in the parking lot and the floors are still covered In debris, the covered parking spaces are burned and needs fixing but nothing has been done yet and all you smell is burnt rubber. Policy states that dogs cannot be above 25lbs and yet, there are so many large dog breeds and irresponsible adults that don't pick their dogs poop up. Makes walking my own small dog so hard because there ate large, stinky poop everywhere. Sadly, I don't think we'll renew once our lease is up. We don't feel safe here. It looks nice but SMV is not well kept even though it has SO much potential. Oh and don't forget all the pigeons that fly around and crap all over the balcony and make homes in your storage area...

These threats were made despite me not saying a word to them and avoiding the tenant due to their erratic behavior with other people within the complex. When I brought to managements attention they insisted they would handle it but it kept happening and it seems like they did nothing but hoped it would just go away. It stopped for a little while, but happened again a year later with the same tenant but much more intense including the tenant pretending she was a lawyer and using a false "Flora Apartments" letterhead on one of her notes and they still did nothing. Additionally, when my longtime roommate and friend passed away very suddenly. It was like pulling teeth trying to get them to communicate with me about next steps with my lease. I had to email several times a day to even chance getting a response. I would even try asking for windows where I could contact them via phone to discuss this or set up a meeting And they would either be late or not in office. When all was said and done, it felt like they were very heartless about the situation. It may be because the management team is short-staffed and they are spread between three to manage. That being said when you can contact the management team, they are nice enough, the maintenance team are top-tier (Sam and Joe you rule) And the community within the complex is some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing (excluding the crazy one that leaves threatening notes) .
