It was busy, with people coming in for holiday shopping. It took a while before someone noticed me and asked if I needed help. When I asked about the gizzards, no one seemed to know whether they carried them. There were a couple of trips to the back, along with checks of the packaged items and frozen section, but nothing turned up. Too bad. Not a successful first visit. FYI. I ended up going to Ray's Butcher on Loomis, and they had plenty of one pound containers of gizzards.

I Immediately! tossed It. I live a long distance from the store, and couldn't make it back until the weekend. I waited over 20 minutes to see the manager. I was told to check with the manager in the butcher area, he told me to check with the store manager. I waited and waited. A man came out ( international) I asked if he was the manager? He replied "No" I knew he was lying. Moral to this story. The manger is a "Jerk" The butcher, did go out if his way to assist me. (Thank You) I don't have $30 to waste. A person who don't care about their customers, should not be in business. I'm from Chicago, and it's hard to find fresh Buffalo in Wisconsin. My co-worker recommended this place. Never again, I was just informed I can get my pig feet and Buffalo down the road at Pete's market. Avoid this store due to management. Butchers are great. While visiting today I found samples of parmesan in a balsamic vinegar that was quite tasty. My main goal was to secure some bakery items for a party and while the selection looked a bit picked over, I had to remind myself that it was after 2 in the afternoon and the store had been open for quite a while at that point. After procuring a couple packs of loaf cake, we headed to the front though I unfortunately did not locate my favorite part of Metro Market: The Clearance Aisle! Hopefully I will find it next time. Sadly, despite the store being busy and bustling, only one grouping of self checkouts was open, which seemed short-sighted yet on brand for Metro Market.

He welcomed us and thanked us repeatedly for choosing them as he's aware consumers have many places to choose from. He spent a lot of time with us talking about the different varieties and cuts of meat. Gave tips on how to prepare items we bought. Told us all about their "specials". Never felt rushed even though the store was busy. In the bakery area he recommended to get the cinnamon roll and oh my it was the best one I ever had. We also got cookies and cheesecake and both were fantastic as well. The meats we got were of great quality. We will definitely go back.

I usually get cheddar, lettuce tomato, tartar, and creamy coleslaw on mine. As you can see from the picture it's usually enough for two meals. Yes, when you walk in around lunch time that deli counter will be swamped, but I encourage you to grab a number and know that these employees are efficient so you won't be waiting that long. Aside from the great lunch specials, they also have great customer service, everyone that works there is really friendly. I love bunzel's!

The food was all great. I appreciate that the sandwiches are hefty and they don't skimp on anything. Like the lemon pound cake I had last time, the apple crumble was amazing. Both visits the service was super friendly from the people making my sandwich to the cashiers ringing people up. Top notch all around.

You order from the counter, and they will bring the food to yohu. I saw many Asian families eating humongous bowls of pho, and they looked quite good. I will have to try some time. On my particular visit, though, we weren't really hungry, and just wanted a snack. We went with eggrolls and beef intestines, but their sausages and stuffed chicken wings (bones removed and stuffed with eggroll stuffing) also looked so good. Eggrolls ($1.50) I've had some exceptional Hmong eggrolls, so i know these aren't the best out there, though it wasn't bad. I wasn't sure whether they had run out when we got there or whether it's just their practice, but they started rolling and cooking the eggrolls after we ordered them. So it took about 15 minutes to get them. It was steaming hot and good, but again, the flavors weren't the best i've had, and it was a bit more on the heavy side with the cabbage. With this in mind, I'm not sure that I'll try their stuffed wings, cuz they probably use the same in there. Beef intestines ($8) Steep on the price, but surprisingly good!!! Got me wowed! Not for those who don't like intestines, obviously, but I've had my share and these are good! They are a bit bigger pieces and intestines are very chewy, so they can get a bit tough to chew. But they had no smell, flavors were on the money, and i couldn't have asked for better. I did take half of it home, and warmed up on the air fryer and cut them more into bite sizes, and it was even better. Would get again!
