Smart responsible gun owners don't openly brag and talk about it to the public. Very unwise. I take gun safety and responsible gun ownership very seriously. But Sean has exceptional knowledge and the best prices for his guns. I've bought guns, safes, ammunition and bags from him. He's got it all! You cannot go wrong here. I've always loved Fowlers. I have been shopping there for a very long time, and always finding myself back there to purchase my goods and pew pews. I rather support the local shops as I have been there, done that myself and I don't get the service that Fowlers provides at the big box or chain stores. Even at Turners, unless you're buddies with the sales guys, you're not on the radar to be recognized. Fowlers has always treated me like a valued customer. Back in the day, Stockade days, I shopped with you fine folks way too much, money would burn a hole in my pocket when I was in town. Several years passed as I wasn't around the area anymore and when I finally came back Orange County., besides nobody knowing my name anymore, the service was still there! Tried calling to inquire about inventory before I made the drive. Several calls later - no answer. I then parked in the parking lot and saw them sitting by the desk talking to each other. I called again and they just let it ring...not a good first impression. As soon as I walked I was not greeted and a tanned older gentleman walked over and is demeanor was not welcoming - like he didn't want me there. I'm no snob but his ego needed to be checked. I was told they do not have it in stock (fine) and to check their Instagram for inventory. Not the best customer service compared to Turner's. I'm willing to pay a lot more at Turner's than to go here again. Also, on their Instagram they only do zoom and "Check this out" type of posts. There's zero inventory list nor is there info on incoming stock items. read more

I wish there were 0 stars, because this place deserves it! I have avoided this place for years. Primarily because their prices are sky high. But I check back once or twice a year to see what their prices are doing, especially with regard to reloading components. They have the highest prices I've seen anywhere!! I'm a fan of capitalism, but there price gouging knows no bounds!! Stopped in week ago, and was encouraged that powder seems to be fairly abundant now, but $50/lb, for everything??? Seriously?? Even the 8lb jug of Green Dot was priced at $50/lb!! $399.99!!!! I've seen a pretty reputable online source with pricing at $180 for an Alliant 8 lb jug very recently. So Fowler's is just gouging the crap out of their customers! I am done with them. Please spend your money at literally ANY other place....Ammo Bros, Turners, etc And for reloading supplies, go see Brian at ReloadOC in Orange. Very knowledgeable and he keeps his powder prices at about $30/lb, even through the worst part of this shortage!!! read more

This is a difficult review to write. The people at Fowler made me feel like their most important customer before I ever walked into their establishment. I do not care if you are an expert or looking for your first gun, Fowler is the place to go. They make you feel like a friend. Knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. Dalton, Ryan and Sean are all people that get what good customer service is and they exceed it. I will begin and end all of my firearm needs with these folks. The reason this is a difficult review to write is because I can't say enough good things about my experience and it gave me writer's block.
