American Shield declined the estimate, and I was quoted $748 for the camera inspection alone, with additional repair costs still unknown. Wanting another opinion, I contacted a local plumber. They used Zep drain unclogging gel and a thin drain snake, which cleared the clog quickly. The total cost was about $60. This was a frustrating experience, but I am glad I sought a second opinion. I would encourage others to get multiple estimates before approving significant plumbing work.
