( oh boy...as I contemplate leaving , to return another day... the new doc called me back.) well heck there goes my escape plans lol. I was also in a ridiculous amount of pain. The Doc shook my hand, made eye contact......and then it was the adjustment. II felt almost instant relief upon adjustment , as in my low back pain was maybe a 2 out of 10, from a 6-7 out of ten. This guy is a scam! He does the same adjustment to every one of his patients. As I stated before, he did the same adjustment to everyone and even if you didn't ask for a neck adjustment or have multiple subluxations in the neck he will still manipulate it against your will. Now I have severe tingling and numbness in one leg and a pinched nerve in the left side of my neck for over a year cause of this. Not to mention, he goes on vacations every other month all while his patients never get better let alone get to go on vacations themselves. I wasn't familiar with Casabona Chiropractic but started reviewing their website. I was surprised and happy to see that they specialize in Scoliosis, which is the curvature of the spine. I have dealt with this illness since I was a teenager. In my adult life, no doctor has ever addressed my Scoliosis or even asked about it. It is quite noticeable. I felt like it was too late and I would just have to deal with it. We are now working on my situation and I have totally grown to trust Dr. Casabona and his staff. The other doctors are helpful and the office staff are wonderful. You can see that they operate as a team. Dr. Casabona wants to educate patients on how and why chiropractic works and what we can do to help ourselves too. He is a hand on doctor, no pun intended. Ha! She uses many different techniques, of Applied Kinesiology, (though I hope I am accurate). She uses conventional techniques as well. I can only speak from my own personal experience when I share I had one of the best experiences today. I am huge on exceptional customer service and a great bedside manner, so much so, I am willing to travel as far as necessary to find just that. Before I even arrived at the center, the communication and friendly reminders about the upcoming appointment I scheduled were very helpful for me. Upon arriving, I was greeted immediately and made to feel like the staff was expecting me. That alone was top notch for me. I found each encounter with each staff member including Dr. Cox, made me feel more comfortable and even a bit excited as I learned exactly what to expect during my first visit. I was both relaxed and felt I was assured by Dr. Cox himself, that he would only proceed with services he offered if after learning more about my needs and concerns it was indeed a good fit. I appreciated his honesty about this rather than a lack of concern for my health just to make money. Lastly, after my initial consult, tests and detailed explanation of what each one meant (which were so cool to see results of) it was determined I was a good fit and Dr. Cox would be able to help me. I finally had my adjustment and Dr. Cox explained each step as to what he would be doing. It was a great experience for me, and I feel very excited about returning for my additional services in the future.
