We stayed 3 nights and opted to have a few drinks and some food on-site on night 2, to redeem our welcome amenity drink. (Well played, very well played.)
The service was good and the food surprisingly tasty. I enjoy anything with goat cheese, so that was my instant pick and absolutely fabulous.
I also had the chowder, which was made with anise: my only complaint is that the anise was left in, instead of using a straining bag. That didn't always make for a pleasant bite. Some were quite hard and the flavor potent.
Guinness was a good pour. Pricing on point. read more
