After passing by several choices, we were both happy we made the choice to stop in. While the outside area is hookah oriented, the indoor seating is vibrant and comfortable for a full and proper meal. We stopped in around 8 pm and proceeded to order a mix of items. To begin, we had the three dips (baba, hummus, roasted red pepper hummus) which was the perfect starter given how hungry we both were. Additionally, the V mango mojitos were the right balance and quenches our long walk induced thirst. The fried kibbeh were next, piping hot and delicious. For the entree portion, we shared the large and plentiful lamb shank tagine (broth was solid and the lamb shank was melt in your mouth good) and the chicken shish kebab (the sauce and marination was exceptional). Both were presented very nicely. The chicken was exceptional and the tagine was very flavorful. We ended the night wuite appropriately with some nice, piping hot tea. Overall, the meal was a very memorable part of my Sydney trip - definitely recommend the food, ambiance, and the smooth dinner experience.

They were so enticing, baba ganoush and all, you couldn't stop eating the addictive food! I also really enjoyed the mains, and loved how the meat was brought out on a skewer - it looked a little badass, like a sword skewering the prey! Overall, great place to eat, although the service isn't very polite, and have a tendency to be a little impatient!

That said, while paying I overheard the kitchen saying they were getting slammed, and so it could be that either someone didn't show for work, or some other reason kept this rustic cafe from being at it's best, but either way, I am unlikely to go back. One the positive side, the atmosphere in this cafe is great. While some of the chairs appear a bit rickety, they add to the rustic feel inside. The range of food also looked quite nice (though we stuck to the coffees). So.. as for the coffee, from my seat I was able to watch them being made and my expectations dropped with each minute. For me, seeing a dbl mac sitting on the bench burning as 2 babychinos are made is just sad. When it arrived it was bitter and burnt... surprised I was not. My wife also ordered a Turkish coffee which seemed very little like the thick syrupy deliciousness I have had on previous occasions. All in all, I was disappointed with my experience here, but I am pretty sure that this was a once off. At least... I hope so... If our breaky experience here is anything to go by, we would return to try their other offerings either @lunch or dinner. As ones who are unfamiliar with turkish armenian food, we approached this with an open mind. Turned out that it was hardly needed. You know it when you stumble on something good. Must try! Vegetarian breaky 4/5 consisted of grilled mushrooms, tossed spinach, onion, poached eggs, on feta pancake with eggplant dip. Each element was cooked without fault, ermmm the feta pancake 'might' hv been prepared beforehand (not sure), the eggplant dip was a nice surprise, smoky creamy, goes well with the pancake. A nice touch which i realized closer to finishing off the plate was that the pancake has been cut into nice little squares. All the better to soak up the egg yolks. Warm yoghurt with poached eggs garlic n mint named aptly dish from raffi's mom kitchen was enjoyable. A simple well executed dish that any loving mom would cook. 3.75/5 Best order their hot fresh mint tea (see pic on my dineline) to accompany your breaky. Give them a go peeps.

Noi Due consistently serves up fresh, delicious, cheap meals. A wide range of traditional, homemade Lebanese and Italian cuisine is available, at more than reasonable prices. Last week a friend and I ordered the dip plate (Hommous, Babaganouj, Labni and bread) as an entrée. Delicious, and only $10. I had the $17 Rocket Pizza as my main (Prosciutto, bocconcini, mushroom, olives, topped with fresh rocket). It was so good, and had just enough of everything- though some of the rocket leaves looked a little worse for wear. Service is usually pretty good considering how busy this little restaurant can get, especially on weekends. If crowds bother you, Noi Due offers free local home delivery. Another big plus for Noi Due is their commitment to promoting local artists. Beautiful, locally created artworks adorn the walls of the restaurant, and they're all for sale! After a few searches I decide upon Balmain, a suburb of Sydney, directly across the harbor. Balmain like most areas around the harbor have an interesting history - look it up. Back to the meal - the tenderest chicken kabob ever! So good, I decided to take the last portion back to my hotel. The appetizer- Arnabeet was fantastic. If you like this cuisine - make the short trip by land or water taxi. The only reason it's not 5 star - they served me Sprite instead of lemonade- forget that - 5 stars - I should have asked for another drink. I'll return for lunch in near future and take fotos when I have more ambient light. Kudos to the chef!
