They replaced the original brick with new brick---and we have had leakage in the plaster walls of my daughter's bedroom ever since. The plaster wall--which lines the brick of the chimney--is rotting. We hired Clean Sweep chimney last year to re-point our chimney. I do understand that people were…read morebehind because of Covid, however they promised us it would be done in the fall. Fall came, and they told us that it was getting too cold to do the work and we would be the first one on the schedule in the spring. June came along and they still hadn't called us to do our work, so we contacted them and they said they would come June 23, however they wanted to use our neighbors property. The woman who lives there is only a renter and cannot give permission to use the property. We told them they would have to do all work on our property. After all this time, they called back and left a message that they were not going to do our work because they couldn't use someone else's property. No other company that we got estimates from even thought of using another persons property to go on to do work at our house. We have plenty of room on our property for them to set up their scaffolding, but my assumption is they are too lazy and want to pull their trucks into the neighbors driveway and work from there. I would never recommend this company. We have now wasted a year trying to deal with them

After job was done was told , need new flue ... after waiting for that estimate finally received it $2500 more after paying $2800 for the chimney ... Had that company come over beforehand look at chimney never told me it needed a flue ... Also they reused old tin cap and assembly on top and now it looks bent after reinstall ! Just can't believe $2800 for 5 hours work , what do bricks and a little mortar cost ? Grant it something I can't do , only because of my age ! Understand costs of running a business and making a profit and having a couple of 25 year old kids , I expected at least a whole new tin cap and everything new ... Should have been told about flue as when the chimney was first looked at .... All I can say do homework get a few more estimates ! Will get other quotes on a flue !
