The floor beneath the collapsed tiles was very messy and the situation really was a sort of emergency because I am quite elderly and did not have the strength to fix the two tiles and clean the floor. Ben came out and was very knowledgeable about ceiling tiles and dryer vents. He seemed to have a talent for handyman tasks. He was polite, organized, and had all the equipment necessary for the task. The company advertises "window cleaning and more." The price was reasonable and I sure am a fan of "Dufault." (When people look them up, they spell the name of the company wrong.)

In the spring of 2023, I was scheduled for an appt. Jared arrived at my door, alone, and was visibly agitated. When I asked what I could do to help, he swore about the scope of the job. He began to toss my screens on the deck. I became anxious about having him in my home, so I called a male friend to come over. Jared began to yell about my "stinking" backyard and continued his swearing. At that point, I called the phone number I always used to tell Gerry I was asking Jared to leave; no answer. I told Jared to leave and he began to yell at me about a refund, screens and came into my friends' face, still swearing. We both went inside; I was feeling intimidated and frightened. I tried calling Gerry about four times; with no response. I locked my screen door and Jared came around to leave a receipt. Through the door, he yelled one of the most vile swears I have heard. My neighbor heard the yelling and was getting ready to call the police. I sent Gerry a letter, then a certified letter, requesting a refund for my prepaid spring and fall services. Still no response, I began the process of going to small claims court. After serving the papers, I received a phone call from Kim and the matter was financially settled. I felt unsafe and intimidated; I would hope no other person would experience this outrage. I did end up filing a police report, as well.
